Amy's weight loss with LIDA journal |
|
|
Hi, I'm 24 from AUS and have been slightly overweight for the past 5 years. I'm a size 12-14 and have tried everything: Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Slimming shakes, xenical, soup diets, the list is endless... I excercise quite a bit as it is but my appetite has always been HUGE and I can't resist chocolate, burgers etc...
Anyway enough is enough. I haven't had anywhere near as much interest from guys since I've been overweight and I've lost alot of confidence.
I'm now hitting up the gym atleast 5 times a week (to do PUMP, RPM, BALANCE & cardio) as well as bush walking 1-2 times (for an hour) a week.
So I'm trying LIDA and it's now day 3. I will try and post every day to keep me motivated and to keep track of my progress.
Day 1:
Bfast - fruit
Lunch - fruit
Dinner - chicken w/ lentil salad
Excercise: PUMP
Day 2:
Bfast - fruit
Lunch - fruit & light ham
Snack - crackers & low fat dip
Dinner - lamb w/ (low fat) potato & green salads
Excercise: RPM
Day 3:
Bfast - fruit
Lunch - fruit & light ham
Snack - crackers & low fat dip, low fat choc mousse
Dinner - beef w/ green salad
Excercise: 1 hour bush walk
I have definitely noticed my appetite coming back on day 3 - which is why I've had two snacks after work. Will try to curb/control this with more diet tea.
I will post before pictures (to motivate me even more) as soon as I get a chance...

ok so i'm reading a few kind of scary things about lida on the web - nothing concerning the botanical capsules just the slimming capsules...
anyway i won't be taking these for longer than two months thats for sure.
i'm very thirsty i've noticed...
today:
breakfest: bowl of ceral & skim milk
snack: carrot
lunch: strawberries, orange, 10 almonds, small portion roast chicken
snack: carrot
dinner: bbq meat & salad
excercise: RPM
all is going well i just wish more people in this forum had info/experiences on lida!! |

If you need motivation, check us out on the Hot Mama diet.... there are 3 of us gals who connected here on the internet, and we are keeping each other on track. It is hard, but we are applauding each other's small accomplishments. We'd love for you to join us!!!!
Good luck! It does sound like you need a bit more protein so that you won't be hungry.
Sounds like you are doing great! |

ok , so after nearly 4 weeks starting at 76.1kg I am now 70.9kg.
have not excercised properly for 2 weeks as been travelling - so the pills are working quite well considering.
have also let the diet slip a little - although i'm waitressing now full time - so the extra excercise probably helps.
so 5kg in 4 weeks - pretty good.
side effects: extreme thirst, initial sleeplessness, dizzyness - when i'm not eating enough, irritable/emotional (slightly), TIRED - that could be from work! |
