Which hoodia to try???? |
|
|
| I've now decided maybe hoodia might be able to help me control my overactive mouth. But which one should I try? Apparently, the real deal is still being tried and tested by a pharmaceutical company, so what they have on the market only contains an itty-bitty amount. Which product has the most of the itty-bitty amount? Which product is the most effective? Anyone know? Please don't suggest some diet, I'm not looking to be healthy, just thin. I know, that's so bad!! |

60 minutes ran a segment about Hoodia and now a lot of supplement makers are tripping over themselves trying to get it on the market.
The truth is that it is uncertain whether Hoodia really works, what doseage is needed to obtain weight loss, and what doseage is unsafe. In other words, you're making yourself a test subject by trying it right now.
I would focus more on trying to stick to a healthy lifestyle and use the money you would have spent on diet pills to join a support group. Weight Watchers is a great one, though there are many other groups as well.
A lot of people like to promote diet pills, but you need to ask yourself whether a supplement is are worth the risk. Without being a doctor, I can't comment on your personal situation. I also realize that dieting is a long-term process that can be frustrating at times. But the potential risks of an unknown substance could be worse.
I hope that Hoodia lives up to the hype, but in my opinion, right now, it's just not worth the potential risk.
