Hello. My name is Christopher and I am 25 years old. I am 6ft2 and weight 425lbs. I am really disappointed with myself that I have allowed myself to lose control of my life. I am here today because I want to live a healthy long life. I have always been a very big guy but I know I need to lose the weight not only for health but it would also be nice to look in the mirror and fell good about what your seeing.
I really could use some help and advise and I will always check in a let everyone who helps know my progress.
I am a fan of the Biggest Loser and I know they don't have to work and they train like crazy but when the people my weight lose 15 to 17lbs a week is that safe?
If someone can set me up with a diet I can follow and a workout I'd really appreciate it. |

I dont have a meal plan but I know a couple of good sites. A free one you could try is sparkpeople.com the give u meal plans based on ur preferences and have all types of articles on fitness and message boards for support. You can also log ur food intake and exercise.
If ur looking to pay u can check out weight watchers and for $39.99 a month you get mtgs and u can log food online and the program incorporates fast food (healthy choices) and frozen entrees if u dont have time to cook.
Good Luck!! |

| Hi Biggest loser Chris! How are you doing today! You should be happy that you have made the decision to not only lose weight but to also lead a healthier life, and in my book you have already WON!!!. It is ok to lose up to 15 pounds a week at your size, becuase of how much you way (i wish I could!) BUT the way you lose weight and what you lose are very important. You shouldn't lose to much water weight over a long period of time becuase you could risk bieng dehydrated, and don't lose muscle (thru very low calorie diets) over a long period of time becuase muscle burns more calories than fat and will allow you to be a lean, mean fat burning machine for the rest of your life! (losing muscle is also unhealthy) You can check out reviewofthebestweightlossdiets.blogspot.com to look over some popular diet reviews and read some helpfull weight loss articles. I STRONGLY advise that you avoid weight loss pills right now, as they could mess with your heart, and we dont want anything to dampen your metabolism. You need your metabolism to be strong right now to start losing weight. Hope this helps. you could PM me for more info |
