hello.. i'm new here.
been reading a few posts here on successful weight loss.
I need some help here. hopefully someone can help me out.
i'm 163cm tall and sadly weigh 63 kilograms.
I'm losing confidence and feeling grumpy all the time.. as i can't accept that sometimes my friends are laughin at my fat body and flabby arms and thighs. i see beautiful people around me.. and with my fat body.. i felt so out of place and really looked down.
I just want to lose some unwanted weight and hopefully can start a new life.
I'm not sure where to start.. what to take or what to do..
I've tried atkins.. exercise and strict diets.. but not much of obvious results.. mayb because i'm such a big food-lover which i find it really hard to control not to eat..
Not sure of slimming pills and their side effects..
Please help me..
Thanks. |

Lady Jo,
I know how you feel. It can be a real downer some times. You try so hard and just don't seem to get nowhere. I have been on atkins, GI, GL, etc. and still I just can't keep from reaching. This new year I am determined and want to loose the weight, I have a holiday booked for end of june, a 21st and a wedding in august and I am determind to look good for these and have ALL of my wieght lost.
Don't give up!!

Hi All!
I'm a newbie too and can only echo your thoughts! I have been overweight for so long now that I am scared of just accepting it.
Has anyone else tried the diet pills and can they recommend something for someone who is scared to take an aspirin normally. Getting desperate! |

Whatever you do, do not resign yourself to being overweight. Been there, done that!
I tried many "diet pills"; the best they can do is to give a boost to healthy eating physical activity - the two methods that are known to work with weight loss. As of yet, there is no magic pill - not even ephedra.
If you are concerned about taking even aspirin, then there is little options for you. Kelp tablets are about as natural as they come, and taking a couple a day will ensure your thyroid is receiving enough Iodine to function at maximum efficiency (boost your metabolism in other words). Also avoiding all aspartame may help - aspartame is proven to stop thyroid function.
Aside from that, your best bet is to begin a regimen of physical training and healthy eating - that was the core of my own weight loss success. |
