Hello everyone,This is my first post,I have browsed this site a few times and found some of the success stories really inspirational..
Well about me,I am a mum of 3,nearly 26 years old and sick of being fat.I've had two kids in nearly two years so I've gained and hardly lost anything and now feel that I must slim down as I'm getting really depressed.I used to be happy and vibrant and all this weight justs gets me down and I feel sluggish.
So here I am,Jan 1st 2008 and really ready to do this and hope some people will join me..
Not sure on which diet I am going to follow,I have had success with weightwatchers before so I guess its going to be a low-cal healthy eating n plenty of exercise. I have used slimming pills before but not sure I want to now.I just want to change everything for the better with long term effects.
Anyway thats me..

My first weigh in will be next Tuesday.

Hey there, I am new here as well and would like to get these 34lbs off that have managed to creep up on me.. I am starting off with a cleanse and then moving onto a modified version of Weight Watchers and a lower carb intake.

Hello everyone!
This is my first time joining/posting on a forum. I have had 2 cervical fusions in the last 18 months and taking steroids and being inactive has helped me gain weight. I am looking for some help in staying on track! I thought if I put it out there, I would be encouraged to stay with it! |

awesome job on the weightloss!!! isn't it great updating your profile to a lower number??!! great work!
I weigh in on Fridays. I find that weighing before the weekend helps keep me motivated and on track through-out the weekend.. which is usually when temptations usually arise. |

| just wondering if anyone would like to swap ideas/suggestions on the most filling foods? I find that i can make healthy food choices and exercise, but i just get so hungry i end up eating too much and not losing the weight! |

As for filling foods, for me that seems to be the protein family. The other thing that keeps me full along with all the extra benefits is water!

I'm alittle late but I'd like to join in. I am so ready to lose weight I'm 5'11" and weigh 223lbs. My goal is to be 150lbs before our family vacation in the middle of June. Don't know if that is possbile but I'm going to try anything and everything to do it...ha! My long term goal is to be 125-130lbs. I started Weight Watchers last Jan and lost 20lbs. but in July stopped going and then started back in Nov. and it seems like all that I've been doing is gaining weight since I started back at Weight Watchers. I feel like I will never get to my goal! Ok, so enough this is a new day and new year, I will do this and show everyone that I can do it!!
223lbs.-start weight
150lbs.-goal weight (Tues. June 17-weeks till then 21)
Wish me luck this will be a challenge for me...HUGE CHALLENGE!! |
