tenuate vs phentermine?

Hey there, I'm new to this forum and also just joined Dr. B's site today. I am wondering if any of you have ever tried tenuate (diethylpropion) and now use phentermine? I would just like to know how they compare in your opinion. Thanks! Cool

I used Tenuate for a long time but changed to Phentermine about a year ago because I could not find Tenuate. Phentermine is OK but I think I prefer Tenuate. For me Tenuate worked better.

It's another diet pill, the generic is called diethylpropion. It is related to the amphetamine family and works as an appetite suppressent. I used it for awhile through a dr's script (which ran out long ago) and i know he also prescribed phentermine to some people. So, I was just wondering if anyone had any info to compare that had used both.

I am currently taking BOTH Phentermine & Tenuate. My dr. just prescribed 30 mg Phentermine to take in the morning and 25 mg Tenuate to take in the afternoon.
Personally, I like the energy boost I get from the phentermine. I don't really notice an energy boost from the Tenuate - but that's good since I'm taking it at night and I want to be able to sleep.

Hey I wanted to bump this post up because my neighbor has lost 25 lbs taking this, she went to a weight loss clinic and they gave her this and topamax. Since phen seems to be weaker than it used to be I was considering ordering tenuate. Does anybody know a good place to order it from?? And also has anybody tried both phen and tenuate (not together) to give us a comparison on the two?
