Trampoline for Fitness? |
|
|
| Hello all! I am new here, and was just looking for some talk and support about trampolining for health. I have a friend whose kids have a trampoline and I noticed that every time I would get on with the kids, I was sore in my stomach the next few days, and of course, out of breath while I was on the trampoline. So anyway, I've been asking for it, so hubby got me a trampoline for Christmas! Just putting the thing together has proven to be a pretty good work-out, but I'm looking forward to getting on it and getting in shape! Does anyone know some fitness benefits (muscles worked, calories burned, etc) you can get from trampolining? |

| Its a good and fun way to burn some calories and work out some muscles. I do not know how many calories you will burn but its a great way to exercise. You will work out several muscle groups including your abs, hips and legs. |

You nailed it! My stomach (sides and lower front) and inner thighs are already sore. Those are the exact areas I need to work too! And since I can only jump for about 5 minutes at a time right now before I'm out of breath, I'm guessing it's a great cardio work out too. |

Congrats on the new trampoline!
I have a mini exercise one that I use from time to time. There are various exercises you can do on it to target specific muscles. Looking it up in a search engine would be the best way. I believe a lot of sites refer to it as "rebounding." |
