12 Week Challenge - Who is in? |
|
|
Okay, let's do it people! Let's post goals, beginning weights, daily food and exercise progress, and let's keep each other accountable! 12 weeks of good, old fashioned working hard and feeling proud! Jan. 6th - March 30th.
Here's mine:
Beginning Weight: 245
12 Week Goal Weight: 220
Plan: No more sodas or fast food at all....plenty of fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruits and veggies, lean meat, water, water, water....and as far as exercising....dog walking, trampolining, and I'm considering joining Curves.
I'll be posting my daily progress, please hold me accountable everyone!
Who else is with me?? |

Come on folks! |
|
|
I see that no one is in yet, but I'm going to keep on going strong because I think someone will join me before too long.
So today is Day 1...I am a late riser, so I just woke up (it's almost 11:00 AM). I'm about to go in the kitchen and juice some fresh apples, oranges and bananas. Then I'm going to put on my work-out clothes and take the dogs for a walk, then get busy unpacking boxes (we just moved). Lunch will be challenging because with no fridge yet, it's so easy to drive through somewhere. I'm going to make a plan right now though to do Subway today for lunch.
Dinner will be a different story. I'll post again later on tonight. I am really hoping someone will join me and let's see who can meet their 12 week goals! Any takers? |

Whoa - End of day 1 |
|
|
Well, I could have done MUCH better with drinking water today...instead, I was BAD and drank a Route 44 Vanilla Diet Dr. Pepper...
I was 3 hours into putting a trampoline together, and was SO tired, dirty, thirsty, etc., and with no fridge yet (coming Tuesday) we didn't have any bottled water and I know it's no excuse because I could have gone and bought water at the gas station, instead of going through Sonic drive through. Ugh, that was so bad, but it tasted so good. Guess it's a good thing I burned about 10000 calories putting the dang trampoline together! Geez, that wasn't an easy task! Other than the Route 44, I ate pretty good today!
How did you do today?? |

Good Morning - Day 2 |
|
|
Hello everyone! Well, it's Monday, the worst day ever to diet, but we have to stick with it!
My plan of action today...first I'm hitting the kitchen for some fresh squeezed juice and some whole fruit. Then grabbing a big bottle of water and heading out the door to take the dogs to the dog park. I could just sit my fat butt on a bench and watch them play, but I'm going to walk the park, while they're playing. When I get back, it'll be either a lean cuisine for lunch, or a sandwich or something. More fruit for an afternoon snack, then later on, dinner will rear its ugly head! I'll check back in later.
Good luck today everyone!!
BTW, my weigh in days are going to be Wednesdays!! So I only have 2 days until weigh in! |

It's me again |
|
|
Hey, it's me again! I didn't check in last night, guess you know what that means.
BUT today I started a juice fast, and yes I'm starving, but my body should be detoxing from all the horrible food I've been eating for the past 10 years by tomorrow afternoon! Just knowing that it's so good for me is worth it!
I'll keep ya posted. |

| I just got started today. I want to join you guys. I was brave and weighed myself today. It was depressing, but it gives me a starting point. I'm 170 right now. I think 155 is a good goal for the challenge. |

sick sick sick |
|

well, i had to take off a few days. i did not see alot of results in the tae bo...other than my hamstrings are killing me. but alot of people said they saw a difference without me asking. but then i got sick and had to take off about 3 days. so for the next week i am going to recover by walking 5 miles 3 days this week and doing tae bo the other 2 days. i will tell you i see a big change in the way i feel due to the fruit and veggies. other than being sick..i feel pretty good.
i am proud of everyone for sticking to it...but i have to put my 2 cents in here..with diet sometimes we lower our immune system. dont forget if you are dieting and not taking any vitamins, you are putting yourself at risk for being sick. that would mean taking time off and risking not getting back to the plan. so if you arent on a vitamin, go get you one. okay, off my soap box...keep it up y'all.

Yes I am in! Well done everyone you seem to be doing great! good luck
I am now approx 10 and a half stone (147 pounds)
I want to be 9 and a half stone (133 pounds) although 130 would be perfect!
sometimes I find it difficult to stop myself eating even when i'm not hungry, does anyone have any suggestions?
I am going to try and eat a healthy diet of fish, vegtables and fruit etc and eat regularly.
the problem is at university we have little cooking facilities, so everything I prepare for myself will probably be raw or cold? any interesting suggestions?
I will post my day of food later!
Good Luck everyone and have fun! xxx |
