I just joined today Smile and thought I should post a journal so that I can start to feel part of the community.
I am going to officially weigh myself tomorrow in the morning. I know I weigh around 170 now, but I want an exact weight. Seeing as how it is late in the evening and I just ate dinner, weighing myself now would probably not be the best idea.
I am tired of being over weight. I don't have low self-esteeem, but I know I can look so much better. I feel that my weight is pretty well proportioned and for that I am very grateful. I feel I look "curvy" instead of "fat." I want to be healthy and curvy though.
So my plan right now is to take HydroxyCut before each meal (I have taken this before and like it...I just got lazy and fell off the plan before). For breakfast I am going to have a Slim-Fast drink along with fruits and perhaps a cereal bar. I am going to pack lots of vegetables and fruits into my meals. For dinners, I want to have something filling with some meat and of course vegetables. I already drink water, but I want to drink a lot more water to flush out bad toxins in my body and keep me feeling full longer. I am also taking a daily multi-vitamin.
I'm going to be honest and say that I don't plan on much exercise. I know myself and exercise doesn't fit well into my schedule. I would like to work on that, but one goal at a time. Right now the goal is good eating habits. So I'm relying on diet alone at this point to lose weight. Let's see how it goes. Smile

So I weighed myself this morning and it said 175 Sad So that's an extra 5 lbs that needs to come off. But at least I know where I'm at now.
I plan on writing on here each day. I want to write down what I ate and how I'm feeling.
Since I just woke up, I've only had water and one hydroxy cut pill. I'm about to go eat breakfast now.

Here's the list of what I ate today:

Breakfast
1 Hydroxy Cut pill
1 Slim Fast drink
1 NutriGrain Bar
1 pear

Snack
2 medium oranges

Lunch
1 HydroxyCut pill
Spaghetti with hamburger meat and sauce
1 sweet potato with sprinkle of cinnamon

Snack
small brownie (mom just had to make brownies tonight)

Dinner
1 HydroxyCut pill
1 Healthy Choice meal (meat, potatoes, carrots, and apple/cranberry crumble)

So that along with a multi-vitamin and tons of water is what I had to eat today. Maybe it's not the best diet, but I'm working on it.

I'd avoid all the slim fast/ready meal stuff - it's full of sugar and salt you shouldn't really have.

Best to stick to a natural diet with lots of fruit and veg.

Yeah, I know Slim Fast isn't the best option for breakfast, but my mornings are hectic and I usually don't eat anything. I was thinking grabbing a Slim Fast and drinking it on my way would be better than nothing.
I'm open to other suggestions if anyone knows of something else quick that I can have on the go.
This morning I have nowhere to go, so I'm going to go make myself some oatmeal. It's been awhile since I've had that.

So here's today's recap:

Breakfast
1 HydroxyCut pill
1 Quaker Oats Simple Harvest oatmeal packet
1 pear

Snack
1 pear
1/2 cucumber (eaten while preparing large salad for next few days)

Lunch
1 HydroxyCut pill
Beef Stew (with potatoes and carrots in it) and rice
bowl of salad

Snack
1/4 cup of walnuts
1 Dove milk chocolate square

Dinner
1 HydroxyCut pill
bowl of salad with oven roasted chicken in it and 1 tbs of ranch dressing
1 slice of blueberry bread

Snack
NutriGrain cereal bar

In my salads I have lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, celery, alfalfa sprouts (awesome veggies I just discovered a week ago!), and broccoli or broccolini (another one I just learned about!).
Has anyone else tried broccolini or alfalfa? Any suggestions on other veggies that are good in salads?

Good news! I did 1 hour on the Elliptical machine today Smile My elliptical machine is fixed (well it wasn't really broken, the bolts and such just needed tightened and oiled). I'm going to try to do an hour each day. I don't know how doable that is since school starts back up next week. But I'm going to try!

I know I haven't written in a while...I've been slacking. My last semester of school just started back up, so that threw me off track. I've been trying to still eat well. I'm bringing a packed lunch instead of getting fast food like I used to. I'm also still doing the Biggest Loser workout video that I have. I'll admit that I haven't been doing it as often as I would like to. but that's because it makes me quite sore for about 2 days after I do it, so that makes me want to rest until the muscles aren't sore anymore.
Well I'm going to try to get back on track with keeping a log of my eating. Time for rest now and start again tomorrow.

Today wasn't too bad. I definitely kept up with my water intake. I had 120 ounces total during the day. I have a bottle that is 20 ounces and I just keep up with how many times I fill it throughout the day. I'd like to keep with the 120 ounces each day. I didn't work out today, but hopefully I will tomorrow.

Breakfast
1 HydroxyCut pill
1 oatmeal packet
1/2 pineapple chunks

Lunch
1 HydroxyCut pill
salad w/ 2oz chicken and 1 tbs of ranch
1/2 pineapple chunks
.75 oz roasted almond slices

Snack
1 Quaker oatmeal cookie

Dinner
1 sweet potato w/ cinnamon
1/2 cup sweet peas
1 Chicken breast with italian seasoning and less than 1 tbs. ranch
dressing

Snack
1 Mocha frappucino (mom brought it home as a surprise...ugh, so of
course I drank it!)

Hi, I am Candy
I was so overweight before, but I am ok now.I tried so many weight loss capsules also do a lot of exercises but no use,one day a friend intriduced a slimming capsule, I find it is canbe useful, because after I take this one I lost weight steadily also at same time I do a lot of exercises and now I keep on taking it. So I think maybe the slimming capsule useful. It comes from China, and made of Chinese herb so it is very natural and very safe.when I take it I did not feel any comfortlessness. The name is Lida daidaihua Slimming Capsule.I buy it from this e-mail:dali0812@kmdali.com.
I think maybe you can try this way
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
