I am a mother of 3 older kids and I have had the worst luck getting rid of the baby pouch in my mid section. I have tried many things, but nothing seems to rid me of that pouch. I have considered a tumy tuck, but besides the cost, I hate pain and surgery! I came across an eBook that says I could lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Sounds reasonable, right? So I buy the eBook and decided to share my experience online, so others could see to if it was worth a try. Anyone who either wants to watch my progress or even join me can follow along online here : squidoo.com/weight_loss_idiot

The main reason I decided to do the plan was I was given an online menu generator, where I pick foods from 2 long lists and it combines them into an 11 day menu. Its food I already like. I love food! Hense why I still have a baby pouch after 11 years. The book also says that walking at a moderate pace is better than running or other rigorous excercise. Aparently the harder you workout, you will burn carbs instead of fat. Hummm, I never heard that before, but again sounds good to me.

Wish me luck and see you in 11 days and I will come back and tell you if it was worth it or not Smile

Here is where I found the ebook: my-linker.com/hop/dietforidiots

Let me know if any of you have tried this and if so did it work for you?

My mom used that plan and only lost about 6 lbs. It had really weird combinations and made it difficult for her to eat out. She had to help me for a couple days during it and stayed with me, so she had to bring all her own food. She generated a plan for me, but I don't think I could stick with it. If you can do it the whole time you will probably lose weight in the short term, but definitely not something you can keep with long term (especially if you eat with other people). Good luck. If you have better results, maybe I'll dig out the plan I was given. Wink

Well I can say that I have lost 2" of my belly in about a month. Not really so much weight..but that I expected.

The diet generator makes it hard to eat out and really is mean to 11 days..
But it is hard to follow.

I really think the walking is what helps burn the fat. Common sense would say eat healthy and exercise will cause you to lose weight....duh.

Which after a month of walking 3 miles almost every day, I now can run for part of it.

The calorie shifting methods of Fat Loss 4 Idiots allowed me to enjoy desserts on a regular basis, both during my 80-pound weight loss, and my post-loss maintenance.

If you want to lose weight, but do not want to spend all the days of your life eating only salads and tuna, this book will help, it did for me!

I think every book about diets work. It only depends on the person, for me if a person follows a diet he or she must have determination and patience to fullfill in weight loss.

I say unfortunately because i hate diets. Diets 4 idiots has worked for my husband, my friend and myself. We are part of a weight loss challenge with another couple and have a weigh in date on November 15th. So i don't know how much i have lost - but we have done the diet 1.5 times and i am wearing 1-2 sizes smaller than i was. my husband's pants are being cinched up with a belt.
the diet is not terribly exciting and sometimes you get really tired of chicken and bacon - but it does seem to work!
i just printed up a new 11 day plan and hope to start tomorow.
this is way way way easier if you can do it with a friend. we laughed ourselves silly when we were preparing to start - you have to read the descriptions of hte foods at the end of the 11 day diet plan - it is hilarious.
