Hello, I'm new here. I just started with a generic sibutramina two days ago. After trying Xenical and didn't work, the pharmacist told me that my eating habits were not too bad then, and she gave me these pills to try. I take a 15mg pill with a glass of water right after breakfast, but in the afternoon I start to feel hungry again..... Does anybody know if it's possible to take two pills per day, like one in the morning and one after lunch?

Its dangerous to take more than 15mg a day as its considered an overdose and increases your chances of developing the more life threatening severe dangerous adverse affects.

The pharmacist told me to breakfast is the most important meal of the day and to take the pill either with a meal or right after in the morning. She recommended to take only one 15mg pill a day. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I've been doing very good for the first couple of weeks, but now I don't see ,uch difference.... Does that happen to you too?

The first few days it seem minimize my cravings for sweets and soda. I eat breakfast around 8 am and take my pill at 9 every morning. Around 11:30 I start to feel hungry again, but I'll eat something small like fruit or granola bar to keep me full til lunch. I have to drink water and chew some gum during the day. That's the only side effect I've had so far.

After a few days of taking it, I get some strong head pain and a very dry mouse, no matter how much water I drink..... Any suggestion?

I also experience dryness in my mouth, I eat crushed ice which helps me a lot. Also try chewing sugarless gum, it works.

How are you doing ? I took my first pill today and have some real hope for results? Anyone out there have good things to say?
