ephedra and thyroid disorders

all ephedra products have that warning to consult your doctor if you have one of the listed conditions, thyroid disorders being one. so my questions are: has any one consulted their doctor? and if someone has taken them with doctor approval/disapproval what were the results? jen

I can say that I have hypothyroid and I took xenadrine RFA when it was being made.

I don't think you can take it if your hyperthyroid because that means it is producing to much so why would you want to try a ephedra product.

If you take it when your hypo you have to decide if that is right for you because we all react differently to meds.

well, i was taking some brazilian pills wish contain ephedra and other stuff. after a month i lost around 10 pound with out no exercise, no more pills and felt like crap felt realy tired, and sleepy and yesterday went to de Dr. because im sweating when i sleep, dont matter if is day or night,im still waiting for my blood result she said something about the thyroid but i didnt understand a lot, lets see what it is.
