Hi there, I am a 37 years hard working single mother looking to reach her high school weight (if thats obtainable..lol)... Actually I am around 190 and would love to get down to 135 if possible. I am just getting back into the dating scene and thought it would be great to meet other male friends who perhaps are struggling as well and are in need of some encouragement from a single lady. I was just thinking the other day of how great it feels to meet someone new for the first time and how you always want to look your best and you start maintaining your weight and just feeling good about yourself. I thought what a better way to start losing weight again but to have a partner who is single and perhaps going through the same things as you are? Anyone looking for the same. It would be great to chat. Who knows if all goes well we may just become life long friends. Thanks and good Luck

I was remarkably in the same situation as you are when I started. I was 37, going through an emotionally painful divorce - a stressful situation that normally would have made me binge eat and get even fatter. However, a divorce makes a man re-evaluate his life, and in my case, I decided that things were going to be different. They were; I lost 80 pounds over 4 months, kept it off. At 160, that is well above my high school weight, but I was a scrawny kid, so I would not want to reach that weight. However, I have the energy levels of my teen years, and many people have stated I look much younger now - including my ex.

The first step is to make sure you are making the change for yourself; lose weight because you want to do it for you. That motive allowed me to stick through some very intense training and eating regimens - and periods. Keep in mind also, weight loss is a journey not a destination. So changing your lifestyle, instead of dieting will be much more effective and healthier in the long run.

If you are interested, I can share specifics of what I did, because I like to help others succeed where I have.
