I had been taking for two days and got very anxious (anxiety and shaking), so I stopped for a couple of days. I took it again today but lowered the dosage. Has anyone else had these side affects -or- anyone lowered the dosage and still seen results?

My diet has been healthier (more fruit and better snacks) and just eating less foods. Scooping less onto my plate, less or no mayo on sandwiches... As you all know, I still eat some of what I really like (sweets!) but not as often at all. I up'd my intake of water and don't drink much else.

I was on my "girlie" last week and think the scale didn't move because I was retaining so much. So, I'll bet you guys experience the same thing. I hope to NOT retain as much next month.

I think I'll buy another bottle of the Lipo - you know I have a couple more months until the wedding and really want to feel good and fit then. In 2 weekends is my shower in California, 1 month after that I am maid of honor in my best friend's wedding in CA, then 1 month after that is my wedding! I think I will stick to the challenge on a monthly basis thru October for anyone whoe wants to continue.

Have a great day!

Skm - I also experienced the shakiness, etc. I also got tummy aches... Ugh. I lowered the dosage at the begining to 1 in AM and 1 in PM. Then, 2/2 and then 3/3 (but not everyday depending on what I have going on). Make sure you have something in your stomache (even a little something helps) and drink lots of water with it. That helped me the most. I take 1 in the morning before I run (if it's a run day) and then another 1 or 2 with some cereal or something.

Hang in there - once you get the dose right you'll be so happy. Good luck to you!

Good morning ladies!

Skm--Welcome to the forum. I have never had any bad reaction to the Lipovarin. In fact, taking just 2 pill did nothing for me. Hope you find what works best for you.

Bleach--I'm on my "girlie" right now. If it weren't for that I probably could have ended my 2-week Scarsdale diet with a 10-pound loss instead of the 8 I did lose. Oh, well! It will come off eventually.

Good luck with continuing the Lipovarian. I have about a week or so left but will continue to check in here once in a while to see how everyone's doing.

Well I am feeling good today! I had gained a pound back, but it was off again today. Last night I upped my walk/run. I did a total of 5 miles with alternating every .25 miles again. Had planned to stop after 4 miles, but somehow just kept going! Smile Will run again tonight. I needed it yesterday since my schedule was too bsy Monday to run and we had a yummy but fattening pasta dish last night. I am just excited that I lasted almost and hour and a half on the treadmilll! I was pooped! I am hoping to be down one more pound by Friday!'
Hey, Where has Pinky been? And others? We've lost a few it looks like. Sad Hope everyone is doing well!

I have been taking lipovarin since May 22, 2005. I was 245 pounds and I am 6ft 2 inches. As of today still on my lipovarin diet which is morning 3 tablets of Lipovarin and 1 tablet Centrum vitamin, 1 cup honey nut cheerios and half a cup of skim milk. Lunch I eat a Balance Gold Chocolate Crunch meal replacement bar. I drink at least 6 cups water to keep hydrated. I have completely shut off any soft drinks and fruit drinks. I am just drinking water. I exercise at around 3 PM. I do cardio for about 45 minutes the least on an elliptical. The machine usually ends up saying I have burned 400+calories which isn't that bad. I then lift weights (I change what parts of the body I lift like one day chest and back, others abdominal and legs and other lower body muscle groups etc.) After the gym I drink 2 glasses of water and eat a Caesar salad with low fat dressing (sometimes no dressing). For dinner at around like 6:15 PM I take 3 more tablets of lipovarin with water of course and eat like a chicken breast, turkey breast, some steak, or fish and with that I eat fresh vegetables like broccoli or green beans with no seasonings. I make sure my diet has some meat for the protein for my muscles to use from my workouts. At night before I sleep I stretch, then go to bed. I have been doing exactly this and still am doing this. Believe it or not I am 179 pounds as of July 28, 2005. I can't believe I lost 66 pounds. I never cheated on my diet at all, very hard so many slices of cake and candy and carbonated soft drinks I passed on. Please believe me this was worth it. Sure not many people get results fast, but I believe it depends on the person. You need to be active to lose weight. You can't just jog for 5 minutes and take lipovarin and expect fast results. Sure you will lose weight, but I worked out a lot and controlled my intake of foods and today I still am. I feel so happy; I look in the mirror and am proud to see myself healthier. It is a great feeling I suggest that all people here who are dieting without much exercise go to a gym and use a cardio machine for at least 45 minutes a day. Not everyday if you can't due to personal reasons but at least 4 times a week. Dieting and exercising with Lipovarin has helped me. I also took the daily multivitamin tablets and meal replacement bars for more nutrients, and I will tell you I had a boost of energy every day and the following days to come. I am lowering my intake of Lipovarin to 4 tablets a day 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. I hope I will be able to maintain weight loss; I want to be at least 165lbs. Wish me more luck, and please feel free to ask questions, I would love to help. I am no expert, but after using this diet I am sure I will reach my target. I know i was late in joining your challenge. I would have loved to be a part of it with such great support. Well basically This diet with lipovarin has helped.

Zman, that's incredible...and congratulations! Applause

You are doing everything right and really seeing the results - you should be so proud of yourself! How great - hey, at 6'2" will 165 be too small? I'm just wondering...

Hang in there and you're and inspiration!

Wheee! I just weighed and am down another lb! I was very surprised. I didn't eat a very good lunch yesterday (cheesy pasta!) and was not able to work out as long since I had forgotten we had an appointment with a mortgage broker to refi our house. I did eat a good dinner of a hamburger patty (low in fat) and a green salad. I knew I needed to after lunch! Well, I hope everyone else is doing well too. I feel great! I think I'll go take my pills and have some water! Very Happy

Thanks Bleach. Its all about losing the fatty foods and drinks. I use to diet nd drink Diet Sodas and even fruit juices. I realized that wasn't going to help. I increased my exercising and just went on to water. Th elipovarin just gave me an ultra boost and fully helped me in my diet.

OH MAN! Does this stuff ever give the nastiest burps! *barf* LOL!
OKay so I just started Lipovarin yesturday, I don't trust the scale so I'm only going to weigh myself once a week. Weighing once a day just doesn't tell you much because you can easily gain a pound or lose a pound in a day just from water retention am I correct? Ugh, I can't stop drinking water(which is a good thing) because I'm trying so hard to get the nasty burp taste out of my mouth, it's horrible! Anyone else have this problem?

So I am 19 y/o, 5'5 and weigh in at 190lbs. I have a small framed body so I really shouldn't be overweight but I am and it sucks. So I decided to take Lipovarin to see what all the hype was about. This stuff better work, $95 later! I excersize as much as I can and I drink lots of water, I don't always eat healthy, I don't have myself on a strict diet because well, quite frankly, I just hate diets. Diets make me feel good for maybe a week but then they just make me feel deprived! I try not to eat so much carbs though, I never eat chips or chocolate bars so atleast that's a good thing. Anyways, I'll let you all know how I'm doing in a week =) Good luck to everyone else and congrats to everyone who has lost weight so far. Keep it uP!

Good morning all!

Welcome to zman and Andrea!

Zman--What an inspirational success story! A agree with Bleach, tough, at 6'2" I think what you weigh right now is perfect. Thank you for sharing your success with us.

I agree with you on the water. I gave up diet Coke right after July 4th and just drink water. For the first time in my life I don't even miss it.

Andrea--I have never had any problem with burping while taking these pills. I wonder if anyone else has.

Good job on cutting out the bad carbs. Are you also increasing the protein? That will help you curb your appetite and lose weight.

Bleach--How's it going with you? That wedding is getting closer every day, huh?

Losingtowin--Congrats on the pound loss!!!

I am now down another pound. I've lost a total of 10 pounds since starting on July 7th, so about 3 weeks. I'm pretty proud of that. My goal was to lose 12 pounds by the end of our challenge and I'm just about there. I know I can get there by August 6th.

Take care everyone!

Andreaca-
I know exactly what you mean by feeling deprived, so don't let yourself feel that way! You can have other foods, but you have to know when to eat them and limit your portions. If you have read any of the past posts, you know I had diabetes while pregnant. Talk about feeling deprived! No juice, no syrup, no dessert, I had to eat at certain times, and with certain typed. Blech! But I did learn some stuff, and ways not to feel as deprived. The sugar-free Jello pudding is yummy, and makes great pudding-pops in the hot weather. If you want pasta, eat it! Just have it for lunch and have a big salad with it. I usually eat my salad first so I don't fill up on the pasta. I also know that if I ate more carbs that day I try to do a little more excerise that evening. It's not about "diet", but lifestyle changes. You need to do things you will be able to live long term with. If you change things now, lose weight, then go back to your old lifestyle, the weight will come back. I know it may sound like I know a lot, and in my head I do, it's the living it that is hard. Why do you think I am overweight? Smile I am glad you have found us because that is how I have been able to keep going. This place is great! Whenever I don't feel like working out, I know I will have to own up to it at the next weigh in and it makes me kick myself in the butt and climb on the dumb treadmill. Good luck with your wieght loss, and I look forward to hearing how you do! Very Happy

HI...I have just started Lipovarin this past Friday and took two pills in the pm then yesterday I took 2/2...that made me feel bad. I felt dizzy even though I was able to work out very well. So today I just took 1 this morning and I still feel a little light headed. I also feel a strange tingly feeling down my arm since I exercised this morning for about 45 minutes.

Do you guys think that this will pass if I just continue to take 1 in the am then 1 in the pm. I really want this to work - I have 20lbs to lose.

I would appreciate any advice!!! Confused

Welcome back, Pinky, and welcome Lulu!

When I first started the Lipo I also felt bad. No tingling in the arm though, just stomach aches and a little jittery. Make sure to eat something when taking them! Even if it's a little something. Tell us more about yourself - is the tingling in your arm normal for you? Did you sleep on it funny? How about your tolerance to caffeine? No on wants you taking this if it's not the right thing for you. Tell us more and maybe we can help.

Hey all, I am feeling bad this morning. I ran out of the Lipo Friday (I reordered) just to give you an update and ran Saturday morning. I picked up my wedding dress....well, it's not fitting the way I thought it would after losing some weight. I mean, it really needs to be altered in a lot of ways, I don't have the right under garments or shoes yet but I left the store so frustrated after feeling really good and confident. It's not a big ball gown type and lays right on the body more. This morning I weighed and I am up almost 4lbs. I feel bloated (no reason really) and tired today. I feel frustrated - This coming weekend are the wedding showers. Oh, and after I left the dress shop, I got a message from my best friend who is also getting married... She said she just had her first fitting and was losing too much weight and they told her to stop losing, blah, blah...

Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks for reading.
