Hey everyone, my name is Shadow, and i just started to realize that i'm gaining too much weight, and I need to lose it. I want to get down to 175-180 and i'm at 240.

I've been working out constantly and haven't really checked my weight lately.

Here is my workout everyday,
Run from 1.5-2.0 miles a day.
Do about 15 mins on the stairmaster.
Do 3 sets of 25 situps. 10 twisting situps, and 35 crunches.
3 Sets of 25 push-ups
I usually lift, it's not an everyday thing but i do lift.

Should i be losing mad weight?

I also watch my diet but it's kind of hard in college.

I eat a salad everyday for lunch, can't make it to breakfast because of class...

What are good foods to eat that won't put on weight but will give me energy and speed up my metabolism.

Tell me what you all think..

Thanks.

I reccommend tracking all your food intake for a couple weeks to make sure you're eating correctly. You could be overeating, undereating, or eating the wrong types of food. I've heard that diet is hugest componant of weight lose.
My friend and i have started tracking at mydailyplate.com.
Its great! She's lost alot more weight by working out and watching what she eats. I was sick for a month (flu, sinus infec, strep), but now that i am back food tracking have lost 4 lbs from just eating all my calories!
You can check out my profile, my user name is raeaela.
(except dont look at today Embarassed , cause i had chocolate for breakfast and am eating out for dinner-v-day and all...)
Good luck and hope this helps!

I think that you are on the right path and I wish you luck. My wife (Sue) and I have been attempting to lose weight for years and have not had any success. We have tried so much and learned alot along the way. I invite you to our website (we ARE NOT selling anything)and sign up for the news letter. Sue and I created the website after every other site just wanted you to buy a miracle pill or piece of equipment.

IChooseThin.com

It is a collection of alot of ideas and articles that helped us understand things better. It is all original and maybe now I can lose some weight.

Generally that is enough to lose weight and if you lose you much weight by using exercise then nothing is better than it.

I recommend strength training. It's great --- More results for less work!

Every pound of muscle burns 50 calories a day at rest. I believe muscle is the best way to truly transform your body over the long term!

I might add in some interval training instead of the jogging. It's been proven to burn way more fat, and you'll be done in less time.

I'm doing it now with great success. Also try cycling your calories, i.e., go maybe 1,000 below maintenance calories for 5 out of the 7 days each week, and then on the other two days, go 1,000 above maintenance. This will keep your metabolism guessing and keep it from slowing down on you.

If hunger is an issue, a good appetite suppressent may be needed. Hoodia is a good option, but most on the market are fake. I found one that finally works. I don't sell it, so I am not going to post a link here. I do mention the name of it on my blog though.

Hope this helps.
