Absolutely at home. Working out in front of other people when you're not comfortable with your body is embarrassing.
I think work out at home can be comfortable for some people, but nobody will watching over me. I think the gym is the best place. There's music and coach and your friends to support you.
When one goes to the gym, how do you know where to start?
What exactly does your workout consist of and how long do you do certain things. I am completely new to a gym and completely overwhelmed?!!!
I have been working out at home with videos but at the gym, I dont know where to start or how long to do certain things. I would like to change things up a bit but I am completely overwhelmed by the equipment and how long to do certain things.
Do I sound crazy?

NEITHER! I PREFER WORKING OUTDOORS! I CANT STAND THE GYM AND I DONT HAVE ROOM FOR TOO MUCH EQUIPMENT AT HOME! SOMETHING ABOUT BEING OUTDOORS AND BEING ACTIVE OUTDOORS MAKE IT BETTER 4 ME
Running my own business, it would be way too difficult to get to the gym, I am looking at getting a home setup from Hest fitness.
I prefer to work out at home but unfortunately sometimes i slack off at home so i try to go to the gym as much as possible.
i prefer working out in a gym for 3 days a week, and rest of the 4 days i do meditation and yoga at home.

I prefer working out at the gym. The main reason is because I seem to be motivated when there are other people around. If I try to work out at home I tend to get lazy really quick.
I've tried both and home works the best. There is no waiting for machines, no embarrassment because you may feel as if you cant lift what you should be lifting and you get to move at your own pace. A friend recommended wlmgsite.com for me and its helped me out alot. I lost 48 pounds and gained some average muscle. The site has two sections. One for weight loss and the other for muscle growth. It pretty much sums off what people on this forum have been speaking about. If it works for you great, take it if you want it. Good luck!
working out at home or outdoors works best for me....I hate going to the gym were everone else has had their sweat dripping on....lol I guess its a germ issue for me
I like to train at home, learning body weight exercises that I can do wothout equipment, like thisĀ
