I called GNC and they said that they won't be carrying any for a year. Has anyone tried any other places or seen or bought any from stores ? I have only found a few places online but the prices are wayyy too high. I mean, I used to only pay $15-20 a bottle and they're selling it for $50 or more online ! WOW ! Hope they go back to old prices soon !

No, I haven't seen it in the stores yet, but there is a place where you can get it cheap. Try sell.com & type ephedra in the search field, or go to directlipodrene.com. I tried the original xenadrine rfa 1 when it was out & it made me extremely slim in 2 weeks. Since it's gone, lipodrene, stacker 3, & metabodrine are just as good. Goodluck!

I called GNC a few weeks back and was told that Ephedra is not legal in California where I live grrr! I can't seem to get it straight if ephedra is legal or not. None of the reputable places sell it; I wrote to Metabolife asking if they would go back to the original formula now that the ban was lifted, to which they replied 'No, due to liability issues.'

Websites tout pills with ephedra, but as an earlier poster said, at two and three times the price that it used to be in the stores. And I wonder if these pills even have ephedra in them.

All I know is that I miss ephedra. I used to take Hydroxycut and and had wonderful results. I only needed to lose vanity weight (10lbs or less) and kept that weight off for 5 years taking the product for eight weeks, once per year. I am so sick of not being able to get ephedra b/c some fools abused it and killed themselves.

Now I am considering trying Lipovarin with its citrus aurantium which is supposed to be similar to ephedra. But all these new products contain caffeine, which I am a bit sensitive to.

In closing, I miss ephedra.

Unfortunately, due to liability and high insurance rates for producers...the price of ephedra has skyrocketed. Ephedra is legal until the FDA can come up with a dose specific amount that is harmful. So far they have not. (Aspirin, has killed more people than Ephedra has) The misuse, overuse, and abuse of ANYTHING may be harmful to one.

If you are still looking for an ephedra based products that actually works...i suggest either lipodrene for people who can handle an extreme rush and those who prefer a more mild burst of energy without the shakes, i recommend XP2G. Peoples sensitivity levels differ. Dont be another statistic.

I bought looking trim online has 10 mg ephedra and Hoodia seems to be working well. If I take two has the same effect as xenenadeine hcI used to have.
