18in4 Zeta Diet Plan |
|
|
If you have ever considered purchasing the James Zeta 18in4 diet plan please save your money.
Not only does his 4 day weight loss plan contradict good weight loss...it contradicts what he writes in his maintenance plan.
The diet didn't work for me at all and I worked it to the letter. I followed every rule to the core. Some of you may lose pounds (at first) but when I talked with others on forums they ALL sadly informed me they gained every single pound back immediately after they went back to a normal, healthy eating life style. Not only that, they gained the weight back extremely fast and gained 2 to 4 pounds more then they originally weighed.
So, you may lose some pounds quickly (at first) but GUARANTEED you will gain it ALL back when you resume back to normal, healthy, portioned controlled eating.
This is a scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS. It is a total rip off. |

I don't see what the big to-do is about this diet. I tried it and it was horrible!
You have grapefruit for breakfast and caffeine? Of course you will lose weight that way. You will be buzzing around and peeing your brains out.
This diet lacks severe amounts of HEALTHY, LEAN protein. It's not a healthy diet and, unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the other people in this forum...you do gain EVERYTHING back (if you lost anything at all.)
I agree....it's a total scam! Don't waste your money! |

18in4 Diet - Ugggh! |
|
|
I just downloaded my diet plan. I stupidly didn't pay attention to all the warnings of this diet that people posted.
I am looking at it right now and can tell this is a scam. It does lack a well balanced diet. There's not a lot of lean, healthy protein listed AND it's way under the recommended 1,200 minimum caloric intake for PERMANENT healthy, quick weight loss.
I am going to try it but I wish I had read the your posts before hand. I can pretty much tell where this is going to go. Blah!
I'll let you all know how it goes. |

NAUSIA...... |

I just finished my 4th day. Uh, I lost a total of 6 pounds and I have I am really disappointed. I busted my butt on this diet to lose more then that and I didn't. 18in4 my a**!
From what I have read on the ledgers, no one out there has lost 18 pounds in 4 days. What the heck? This is a scam.
I think Zeta is a bit of a scam artist. Found an easy way to make some bucks. Don't do this diet. It's a sham.
Yep, I dropped 6 pounds but I got horrible headaches, felt nausious by the second day and couldn't wait 'til it was over. That's not a good diet plan as far as I can see.
Today was the first time I went back to my normal eating habits and I have to tell you the thing I am walking away with is this: I actually eat pretty well. I eat balanced meals and I eat HEALTHY meals. Not this garbage of starving myself.
I appreciate the diet I have. It may take me a few more days or weeks longer to reach my goal but at least I won't be nausious and at least my body will be getting the nutrients it needs to have permanent weight loss. Not this garbage.
Save your money people. This is stupid! |

18-in-4 - IT WORKED GREAT - I LOST 13 +1/2 lbs |
|
|
Hi everyone who has been considering (or suspicious about trying) the 18-in4 diet plan...
firstly, let me just say that I have absolutely no connection with the diet company, I'm just a fat guy in the UK trying to lose weight like everyone else. As someone who has tried the diet and had great success with it I recommend that you don't listen to the killjoys who try to scare you off doing it. IT DOES WORK. Yes, it has different levels of success for everyone but then everyone has a different metabolism. Dieting isn't a one-size-fits-all experience. And some people just cheat - it's that simple.
I've been on a sensible calorie counting diet since Jan 5 '08 (now it's June 1 2008). I had already lost 2 stone before I was offered the 18-in-4 plan to try. As I was feeling jaded at the slow progress of calorie counting, I needed a boost to lift my spirits. I expected nothing to happen especially as the 18-in-4 meals looked rather generous to me after months eating just small salads, bran and steamed vegetables.
Anywway...2 weeks ago, I finished my first 4 days on the 18-in-4 diet plan and I lost 13 + 1/2 lbs. Over the last 2 weeks none of it has gone back on (so it wasn't water) but then again, as the plan suggests, I have followed up the 4 day plan with a longer term, sensible, low calorie diet. Remember, diets aren't suppose to be fun or nurtitionally exciting they're meant to be about hard work and missing-out on sweets, cheese, mayonaisse and cakes (most of the time). My sister only lost 7lbs when she did the plan but she cheated during the 4 days (a diet P**si and a couple some wine). She cheated and paid the price. On the other hand I also know 4 others who have kept it off and continue to keep using the plan once a month as part of their long term calorie counting diet regime. It's not a bad or unsafe diet as far as I can tell. I had a wide range of healthy food products including some protein, some fruit and plenty of vegatables (the basics for ANY healthy eating regime).
Like all the other suspicous types out there, I too thought it must be a scam but my mum, my best mate and her own mum and her work collegue have all tried it and lost between 7lbs and 18 lbs in the first 4 days. If you follow it up with cheese on toast and cookies and milkshakes then yes, all the weight-loss will go straight back on again - it just common sense. Yes, I did pee a lot but not enought to lose 13 lbs in 4 days and I've had plenty of water to drink in the last 2 weeks and it hasn't put a stone back on! Come on guys, there's no such thing as a permanent slimming miracle. You have to work at it everyday.
To lose almost 1 stone in 4 days has boosted my confidence and given me the lift I needed to continue dieting. And this week I was able to go out and but a smaller size pair of jeans which felt good. I've still got a lot of weight to lose but I've now passed the half way mark. Give it a try... but be sensible and follow it up with a proper calorie controlled diet afterwards. |

| Firt of all...for the people who aren't losing weight on this diet...YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T NEED TO! My mother, sister, and I have all been on this diet and it's fucking delicious! Yehh you are hungary the first couple of days bc you're shrinking your stomach, but after that you get stuffed on what you get to eat. And for the ignorant people below...YOU GET HEADACHES BECAUSE YOU ARE DETOXING YOUR BODY OF THE SHIT YOU ATE BEFORE YOU STARTED EATING HEALTHY! No I don't think most people can actually lose a full 18 lbs. in 4 days, unless you're BMI number places you in the OBESE section. If you want to lose more, grow a pair, suck it up and do the Hollywood Diet! This diet is amazing if you cook the correct salt free spices and mix the tomato juice with the squash {Tomato Soup anyone?} and eat the boiled eggs with the green beans! Get creative people and quit your bitching! Take your vitamins too! And it has plenty of protein in it! You're incredibly stupid! Lean chicken breasts...Extra lean ground beef....Xtra lean steak? Prune juice...apples...veggies?! Come On People! |

OK, done the bit of research to see results of the 18in4 diet and there are some good responses and bad ones! Think I'd like to give it go. Stresses of life have put on couple of stones on me and I need something to kick start me back into being healthy and be more positive in life. I think this diet may just do that for me, but I am realistic. Please could someone email me this diet? I appreciate it will be at your own expense and I will be truly grateful, whether it works or not.
