hi all, i've just finished my second day and i'm not feeling hungry, but am looking forward to being able to eat what i want rather than have my food planned for me. i couldn't resist jumping on the scales this morning and i had only lost 1 and a half pounds, but i'm hoping that the weight loss is just slow starting- i know that i'm not going loose 18lb but i'm hoping to loose about 7lb.

Hi all. On my third day today, had lost another 1 and a half pound. I e-mailed James Zeta and asked him if it was normal for the weight loss to be slow and he said that because everyone looses it at different rates-you should wait until the morning after the last day. I'm off out to get my steak for tonight-looking forward to that. will update again tomorrow.
“i am really looking foward to loosing weight can you please email me a copy of the diet. i would really appreciate it thanks and may god bless youscanty wrote:Not sure why it didn't work for all of you but I lost 47 lbs to date using 18in4, 17lbs in my first week. Best thing I could have spent money on. I have been scammed by many people but this was truly legit and James Zeta was always there to answer any questions I had. I was feeling very depressed before I purchased his plan and now I can say I am very happy and for once in my life I am going to the beach with my head up high.”

i payed for the plan and didnt even get it, i emailed jameszeta and didnt get a reply, at least all of you payed for it, got it and then realized you wasted your money, i havent even gotten it, i think i have asted my money already, please can someone tell me how they got the plan after paying?? as in did it just pop-up on your computer screen or something, thanks...my email addy is mulanfa54@yahoo.com
Sucked in badly ! I came across this by accident while looking for the heart health soup diet.....anyway thought why not it'd be great to strip some weight for motivational purposes you konw see some results then go on to what I know works but not so fast. Man I had to try this 5 times eac time not getting past the 2nd day without trembling with hunger and needing to binge on crackers amnd cheese or crackers and vegemite cos I craved salt. I know fact if you are hungry your body goes into survival mode wondering where it will get its next meal from and store fat but like a fool persisted, felt sick even from the tomatoe juice and sheer volume of tomatoes and string beans. Do Not make my mistake and try this it is totally bogus. I wanted to defy anyone to say that they were not hungry on this diet . WOW this guy must be making a fortune from tonnes of overweight people. He needs to be exposed the wanker !
Luckily I read this before I bought it and also a review on here as well- I am not going to buy it...

I bought it scanty and he did not reply to me...are you sure you are not "James Zeta?" this is c***- a waste of money.
Guys, never pay for "information" on how to lose weight. Everything we need to know is free on the internet from honest people who are on the same boat!
I'm trying to lose some weight. However, back in high school, I messed up my body by starving myself because it's what all the popular girls did. You know, maybe eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, then no lunch or dinner, stuff like that. Now my metabolism has been shot and it's harder for me to lose weight.
As some are doing, I'm trying to figure out what my body needs to lose weight. I've taken up nightly tae bo and all I drink is water now. I'm still learning what my body "wants" but it's hard when you can't cook and all you have to eat is frozen foods because it's cheap
I think I'll start the diet diary to take note of what I'm eating, when I'm eating, and all that.
Anyway, thanks for the tips that some of you guys have given! I've been considering them.

never mind i'll get over it, but like every one else is saying dont buy it, dont get sucked in!

To all of these people yelling "Scam" like its going out of style, allow me to shed some light on this diet and clear up any sort of misunderstandings. I bought 18 in 4 about 1 1/2 months ago, I paid a total of 25 bucks for the grocery ingredients, got everything prepared and began the next day. I followed this diet to the LETTER, doing exactly what it prescribed, and guess what? I lost almost 17 pounds in the first 4 days.
I ate and drank exactly what was written down in the ebook, and told myself that a little suffering goes a long way, is that not what diets are? People do not seem to understand that if you are very overweight and live a bad lifestyle in the sense of activity and eating, your body is going to take a long time to forgive you, going on a diet does not just mean slightly changing your eating habits, it means completely changing your LIFESTYLE.
This diet has worked extremely well for me 3 times now, I am just finishing up my 4th round of it, I started the diet at 234 pounds, I am going to likely hit my goal weight of 195 pounds by tuesday. I have done fad diets, but you must must MUST take into consideration that any type of canned or preserved or food cooked in a place other than your own kitchen is packed full of sodium and other horrible chemicals. The only sodium you should be taking in is natural salt from the foods you eat and not the salt that comes from a shaker. So even if you are successful with this diet, but go right back to your old ways, then you have learned nothing at all about what it really takes to achieve your weight loss goals and to know how to keep it off.
Now to the diet itself : the reason you get coffee and half a grapefruit in the morning is simply because grapefruit has one of the best fat burning qualities of any fruit, and gives you very good energy to start off your day. The coffee is simply a shot of life in the morning as well, and something to warm your core up until the next meal. From my own guess I would say you take in at most 1000 calories a day on 18 in 4, BUT you are getting all of the nutrients and essential things needed to help you stay afloat.
Now the reason this is a strictly no exercise diet is very simple, your body is surviving on the calories you take in throughout the 4 day period, and yes they are not very plentiful, the foods are all doing their job at peak while you are resting or not being active. Meaning that any exercise of the rigorous type that you do will immediately start to burn a lot of those calories off, forcing your body to go into starvation mode. Now when this happens your body IMMEDIATELY drops back its production of the fat burning hormone "Leptin". If this happens you are in trouble, because any food you now take in will be instantly stored as fat, no matter what you try to do. Minimal exercise and basically taking it easy for 4 days will give this diet the largest window to show you results.
I know it works because I am living proof when I look in the mirror every day and can't help but smile. The simple pleasure of knowing my hard work and will power paid off, is more than enough to convince me that the 27 dollars was well worth it. I truly hope I have cleared up any doubts you people have about the diet, but bear in mind that you cannot rely on one single thing to make your life suddenly change around. Exercise and eating in moderation go hand-in-hand, simply getting outside for a walk or sport or activity for an hour a day will hugely benefit your body. Why I bought this diet was because it wasn't coming from some huge tv guru, but a regular guy with a family to care for, and quality of life to have with his children. Best of luck

You guys who say that this thing dosent work. I am 14 years old and weighted 210 pounds. I never had a girlfried because they allways said that im to fat. Well now that i did the 18in4 i am a healthey 125 pound kid with a six pack and can finaly go to the pool without a shirt and not being emmbarrased. The people that say this doesen work are crazy and i bet the reason that it didnt work for them is because they didnt work out with it. I followed it and played baseket ball everyday.

The 18 in 4 diet is a scam. I foolishly purchased it -- it says you will get it in 2 minutes ..... 12 hours later I emailed the guy to find out where my order was, since he already had my money ..... finally got the program, did the shopping, bought everything on his plan. The first day I was terribly hungry and sick with headaches .... after lunch on day 2 I got so sick ..... lost time at work, lost time at home, spent all that money for the special diet food, and ended up so sick I almost went to the ER. Didn't lose an ounce of weight. Now, of course, he won't give me my money back -- all $27.00 of it, even though I sent him my food receipt and receipt of buying the program which he required for his "money back guarantee". He should be ashamed of himself for stealing people's money, $27.00 at a time ...
