Can I really do this? |

I play collage football. It is very improtant to me. My coach said I have to lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks, or i will be suspended.
I am willing to do any amount of work to get there.
I am not the most health driven person, i drink soda, i eat fatty foods, etc. But not to an insane degree. Im willing to give everything up except good food, and willing to work every day.
I want to know if it can be done, and any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.
I just ask that if your just gonig to say, its dangerous and unhealthy, and i shouldnt do it etc. I am fully aware of all the concequences, so please, i dont need a lecture, i need help and support. |

Hi Random__Guy,
Welcome to WLF. Check out this post. His story is similar to yours - an athlete desperate to loose some weight in one week:

I think that 15 pounds can be done in 2 weeks by reducing the junk food and increasing or adding the cardio part to your training.
Good luck,
Light. |

I'd say you are young enough to lose it this quickly, especially if you eat more protein than simple carbs. Be careful, though, because you may feel a little light-headed with all the training you do for football practice.
Good luck to you!
