No hatin' here I take phentermine prescribed by my dr but I have a co-worker who takes phentREmine, and I looked at the ingredient list a few weeks ago. It is a mix of various caffeine and caffeine-like agents but I think the most stimulant effect comes from yohimbine. (if all phentremine is the same). A lot of people at my gym take yohimbine-containing supplements and it is supposed to have a muscle-sparing effect that helps preserve your lean mass when you're calorie restricting. I have a really bad reaction to it (makes my heart thump in a very disturbing way!) but those that tolerate it seem to love it.[/b]

I've used both in conjunction. The phen helps to control my hunger, but when I do get the urge to splurge, ALLI has helped. Although...well, what comes out the other end is really nasty. If you're willing to deal with te oily, smelliness that comes out, it does help. Anyway, I haven't had any phen these past few months. And if it weren't for the ALLI, think I would have gained back a lot of the weight Ilost with the phen.

Also, try to avoid super fatty foods when taking the ALLI. One time I got this crazy-urge for that baconator burger at Wendy's. I fgured I could take the ALLI and I wouldn't have to feel too guilty. But the resulting stomach ache and...well, oily discharge wasn't worth it.

Also, I know how you all feel about the phen site. I was a lurker for about a year. When I decided to start posting last week, well, some people were really nice. But som people on there just seem down right mean. I don't really get it.

I think alli made the difference in my weight loss along with phentermine.I think one ideal with the alli is when you take one and eat some juicy big burger and get a tummy ache that you will think twice about it later maybe. Not me, i would just deal with the hurt and eat and sh*t!
