I think I am going to start weighing everyday, too. I was tempted to have a cookie on Sunday (this was no ordinary cookie - high in fat and calories, even for just one - but didn't because I knew Monday morning was my weigh-in, so they daily weighing in will keep me in line.
I actually love working out - its just hard actually going to workout! But I will.....I have a gym buddy that is accustomed to getting up way early who will surely put a foot in my butt if I cop out. Not to mention, I would hear all about it to and from work since we carpool together. |

| It helps me a lot weighing everyday. I was doing it once a week - and I would think well I can eat this cause I have whole week to be good. But then I went to go see the Dr. and when he told me that it made sense. When do you go to see him? I see him again June 9th - I am trying to lose a total of 30 lbs by then, so about 15 more. If not, at least like 25. We shall see! Either way I am really happy about the past 2 1/2 weeks. The best thing yet was on saturday I decided to try on these jeans that I havent been able to wear in over a year - I had tried them on about a month ago and could not even get them closed to being buttoned. When I put them on Saturday, I easily could button them, and they were not tight or anything! I was SO happy, that really made me feel good, and really motivated me. |

I haven't called Dr A's office yet, but I am aiming to get an appointment sometime around the 22nd of May. I am taking phen now that I got from PBRX - I'll be running out of those around that time.
Congrats on getting into your old jeans! I've noticed the same thing with my clothes....I was on the verge of having to buy some bigger slacks for work but now I don't need to as everything is getting loose and I'm getting into my smaller things.
Besides weighing myself, I take my measurements every couple of weeks. Even if you don't lose much on any particular week, more than likely, you have lost inches. Especially, if you're working out. |

| THats a good idea! I think I measured myself right before and wrote it down but havent since. When I called Dr. ANchors to make an appointment, the first one they had was 3 weeks away. I think they are pretty busy, but also he had gone on vacation and I think thats why I had to wait so long. I am going to measure myself today when I get home! |

| I just tried calling his office -- their office is closed from 12 to 3 so I put a reminder in Outlook to call them at 3:15 (I would totally forget otherwise). I am hoping that I can get an appointment around the 22nd which is about 2 weeks away. If not, then I am going to have to stretch out my phentermine - maybe I'll only take it on the weekends since the weekends are harder for me. I think, generally, I do okay during the week except the week when I am on my period. |

| Alright - I got an appointment with Dr A on 5/27. At first, the receptionist said that she didn't have anything until after Labor Day. I was like, "What??" But, fortunately, she meant Memorial Day. Phew! LOL! |

I will. I'm totally looking forward to going.
I was able to get up this morning at 0445 to work out......I don't know how I did it considering that I laid awake til about midnight last night. I get wound up when I am really active and eat late at night. Yesterday evening, pretty much as soon as I pulled into the driveway, I started cutting my grass (with a push mower, almost a 1/2 acre) and the trimming. I was out there for two and a half hours. Then, I didn't eat dinner til 9. Not only was I wound up from doing all my yardwork, I had oogie dreams because I ate late. I dreamt that this hedgehog type creature was chasing after me. Fortunately, I have no grass to cut, so I will be eating dinner no later than 7 and hopefully, be able to drop off to sleep no later than 10 tonight.
This morning, I got to the gym at 0500 and sat in my car for 15 min. waiting for someone to open the gym up. No one ever showed up. There were like 20 people and an instructor for one of the classes waiting to get inside. The manager is going to get earful today!
The bright side: I accomplished getting up early to workout before work. I am hoping that it gets easier the more I do it. It sure is nice to be able to go straight home instead of stopping off to go to the gym. The gym is packed at 5:30 in the evenings! When I got back home this morning, I still did my cardio - I walked 30 minutes on the treadmill. I had sold my weight bench and Olympic weight set last week, but decided to keep my treadmill. Thank goodness I did!
Hopefully, someone is there tomorrow morning - I am planning on taking a Body Pump class which is a cardio weight lifting class. |

| Wow! Good for you! I was getting up early and working out - then last week I didnt so this week has been hard for me to motivate myself to get out of bed. But I am really going to make myself tomorrow morning! Today I completely forgot to take my phentermine - and I felt fine pretty much, just now its the afternoon and I am a little tired. I was thinking about taking it now, but I dont want to be up all night! I wonder when I do stop taking it how bad the withdrawl will be, if any. When I weighed myself this morning it said I lost another 1 1/2 lbs!! I couldnt believe it. sometimes I wonder if theres something wrong with my scale - but I put my 7 lb dumbell on it and it read 7 lbs, so maybe not! |

| Kerls, you said that you dont take the phen everyday right? The days that you dont take it, do you get any kind of withdrawal? I am worried about when I stop taking it that I will feel crappy.... I am wondering how to get around that. I forgot to take it today, and I feel a little bit "down" not too bad, but slight headache, and a little bit of cravings for things, etc. How do you do without it for a day or so? |

I haven't skipped any days just yet - but I am going to have to make my phen supply stretch until I see Dr A on the 27th. I have enough to last through the 24th so I will have to skip three days during the week between now and then. I would rather save my remaining supply for the weekends when I have more time to munch all day and more temptations being home all day. During the week, for the most part, I can manage without it - especially lately, because I have been eating so clean, I really don't crave garbage anymore. And, during the week, I don't have much time to think about food - I workout in the morning, go to work, come home, do things around the house and go to bed at 9:30. I don't recall ever really having any withdrawals from coming off phen in the past. I think at most, I just miss the energy. |

I went to the gym this morning at 0500 and took a class similar to Body Pump - http://www.lesmills.com/midatlantic/en/members/bodypump/bodypump-group-fitness-program.aspx
Apparently, the class I took this morning wasn't the real Body Pump class as they had a substitute today. All the regulars were complaining that she was harder but I kept up just fine today considering it was my first day. I guess it helps that I had been working out pretty consistently for about a month now. I certainly wouldn't consider that class if I was starting off fresh. And, I guess it helps that I am a 'brute.' I am not your stereotypical fat chick.
It's an hour long fat burning weight training class - the hour truly does fly by! I think I am going to stick with that method of weight training for about 8 weeks and see what kind of results I get.
I will definitely be sore tomorrow but hopefully not too bad - I remembered to take my L-Glutamine this morning.
Tomorrow is just cardio - should be a piece of cake! |

That is so great! I got on my treadmill for 40 mins this morning. I feel pretty good! I am so excited... next friday will be exactly 4 weeks since I went to the dr. I cant wait to see how much I have lost by then. I think right now its about 15 or 16 lbs total. So I am hoping to get it to 20 by then! |

Isn't it weird how exercising in the morning gets you pumped for the rest of the day? Great job knocking your workout out today! If you stay consistent with your exercise and continue to eat right, you will have great success. You're losing at a nice rate - you're averaging about 4 pounds per week! That's better than the average weight loss. Keep up the good work!
Even though I am seeing Dr A for, hello!, weight loss, I would love to make it down to 210 by the 27th. Then with the help of his phen-pro cocktail and his book, I'll be doing the countdown to Onederland! I'm so obsessive compulsive........ |
