1. cheerios (regular or honey, usually regular) with a combination of (depending on what I have): bananas, strawberries, raisons, blueberries, and some type of nut..usually soynuts or pine nuts. (Like it, but its getting old)
2. Almond butter on that whole grain bread instead of peanutbutter sandwhich or peanutbutter toast (I just tried the almond butter for the 1st time, LOVED it!)
3. Whole grain crackers with sun dried tomato, or creamy garbanzo bean hommus spread (Loved it!)
4. soynuts with some hommus spread..yumm
I still have the strawberry/banana/whatever smoothies, and I still eat the fruits and veg. I'm just looking for more combinations, what else can you guys think of? Something healthy but quick for someone with a hectic morning (I also eat just apples, plums, and stuff like that, but I like to have a decent breakfast, I even wake up earlier but still am always late somehow lol)

I've cut out chocolates and sweets, candies, white bread. I've cut out soda pop, and caffinated drinks like I said in my first post. I don't really have cravings for any of those anymore. I don't really calorie count like I should..I DO check labels now, and i mostly look at sodium and calories, carbs. But I don't calorie-check religiously. I eat plenty of fish, chicken, pork, and beef, I also eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and fruit smoothies.
I know I have an endless supply of what I can eat, but I'm new to this healthy eating, lol, can anyone else suggest anything? |
