Sandy,
Did you lose this weight solely from taking lipovarin? You see I have very weak lungs and a lot of aerobic excersise is too much for me at the moment. |

Thank you Light!
Kymm--No, I only did Lipovarin for a month (lost 10 pounds with it, combined with exercise and low carb dieting), just to help boost my weight loss. For exercise I do T-Tapp. There is no jumping involved with it and your heartrate doesn't sore, but you will sweat quite a bit. You can find out more about it at www.ttapp.com.

Sandy, you look Awesome! I am impressed! After viewing your photos, I've become motivated. How long did it take you to lose the weight and what did your low carb meals consist of? Keep up the good work! |

Thank you all so very much!
Quick update: I'm down another 6 pounds since taking that last picture. I'm going to be taking a bikini shot when I reach goal (another 3.5 pounds from now) so stay tuned!
I actually only took the Lipvarin for a month to help give me energy. It really is the low carb dieting and exercise that took off the pounds IMO!
Chole--It took me almost 3 years to take it off. I was not consistent during all that time; I'd lose weight for a couple of months then either maintain or go up a bit before getting serious again.
As far as my low carb plan/plans, I've been on several. They all seem to work as long as you stay away from the junk carbs...white bread, rice, corn, and sweets. I eat mainly lean meats, eggs, nonstarchy veggies, and a bit of fruit in the morning only. I have had the most success with the Scarsdale diet, but I'm losing the last 10 pounds with CAD/ CALP. Do a search on the net for these and you'll find lots of info. You'll lose a bit slower with CAD, but it is more satisfying.
Thanks again everyone! |

You do look fabulous - congrats! Can I ask u a few q's?(or anyone else who knows the anwser).
1) You mention corn as a 'junk' carb - do u know why that is? I love eating corn right out of the can. So, if you are dieting u should eliminate corn?
2). You mention 'nonstarchy' veggies. What are they? And what are the other 'starchy' veggies u should avoid if you are trying to lose weight?
3). Is all rice 'bad' or is it only white rice - is brown rice good for you, or okay to eat while dieting?
Thanks so much! |

| "wow" you look great!!!! I just had a baby in june'05 and i weighed 225 when i gave birth. I lost 10 pounds as soon as i came home from the hospital, then i was stuck at 215 for a while. I went back to work in october and after 2 weekes of working i went down to 202.....then nothing. So i went to the doctor and she put me on phentermine 37.5 mg. I have been taking them for a while now and i havent had any bad side effects from them. I went to work today and weighed myself and im now down to 184.2 and i was so happy to see that, because i have 2 children 4years old and 6 months old and i used to weigh 115 and i was a size 5. So i am happy to see myself go from a size 20 in june down to a size 16 as of now. I just thought i'd share my sucess with everyone and i will keep you all posted, and "Good Luck" to you all because we all know its one of the hardest things to do. |

hope you dont mind if i jump in here. stay away from corn its just junk! cant remember why tho but i rarely eat it except maybe holidays. off the top of my head the only starchy veggie i can think of is potatoes. keep them to a minimum. you want to eat plenty of green veggies like broccoli and spinach. only the white rice is bad. brown rice is good in moderation. |
