Well sorry to hear it's that time of the month. I'm just getting over that time for me & believe or not I've manage to lose weight but I think it could be water weight. I weighed in at 177 today . I feel really good. I'm trying to be as strict as I can be & exercising burning 550-600 calories, so I know that's helping. I hope everyone feels better. Have a great day!!!

The weekend is over I'm scared what the scales will say. Back to the normal routine today. The only problem is I'm finding I'm getting exhausted really fast lately and can't do the same amount of activity as before. Is this normal?
Jen I hope you're feeling better.
Sienna keep up the great work.
Diana I know you can lose the weight by new year's.
Suzie Q there is still over 2 weeks left in the challenge, join us! |

Hi Everyone,
Well last night I really had to have will power!! My husband wanted to make cookies last night & I told him no He knows I'm trying really hard to complete my goal but he said why don't you just have 1 to reward yourself but I told him I shouldn't reward myself with food. Also I would of wanted more than one. I would of love to have some cookies but I drank a lot of water & had some chamomile tea. I was so proud of myself for saying no!! I didn't have time to work out but today I'll make the time. I'm going to try to update you with my food journal that way I know what i'm eating everyday. I'm trying to stay around 1200 calories.
12/12/05
Breakfast:
package oatmeal
Snack: 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese w/ pineapple
Lunch:
1 cup chicken,veggies,& noddles
1 1/2 cup green salad
Snack: 1 orange
Dinner:
1 cup chicken soup
5 ritz wheat crackers
Snack:popcorn - 100 calories
Diana - Are you taking any kind of diet pills to help you lose weight? Once you start working out all the time that will give you a lot of energy. Also eating that right amount of protein. You can do it!!
Everyone have a great day! Stay postive & remember how cute your going to look in your party dress for New Year's |

Progress! |
|
|
Well last week was ROUGH! I didn't really work out and I was religious some days and others I just failed BUT...
...in spite of the inner battles and outside influences I have managed to lose 2 more pounds! I will thank Lipovarin for that little achievement!
My babies are sick so I will have to work out at home today! I have 6 more pounds to go for the challenge and it looks like crunch time. I always do better when the pressure is ON!
I have dropped my caloric intake to a 1200 max instead of 1500 since my workouts have been sporadic at best. I have also added fiber/calcium supplements. THey help with satiety and I have never been great about fiber intake.
My toughest time is at night after the kids go to bed....I find that my time to struggle.
Good work everyone....when you fall off....GET RIGHT BACK on the NEXT day!!
Christine

well, looking back at when this challenge started, i guess i have lost 2 pounds. and i should be happier. but i still have 9 to go to my goal. and really i would be happy with 4 more pounds by new years. i was trying an ephedra diet pill and i really believed it was going to give a generous boost, but no such luck. but my diet has been imaculate today and yesterday, so things have got to improve! and with all the snow falling today, shoveling will burn burn burn those nasty calories away!
Hey martie! thanks for following up- i am feeling really pretty good now!

i have read that during your period your metabolism is working extra hard so if you can stick to your diet during that time, you will actually lose faster. fun little fact.
hope everyone is having a good week.

Weighed in yesterday at 174. No change. Surprising after the crazy week I've had. Didn't do very well on the eating side of it but the exercise was ok.
Sienna you seem do be sticking to a good regime. You keep eating portions like that you'll definitaly see changes. |

New Years Challenge |
|

Hi Everyone,
My weekend was not very good at all. I snack a lot but it could of been worse, that's what I have to tell myself . Last night I work out & burned 750 calories. So that made me feel a lot better. I weighed t 176lb so that made me feel even better this morning. I need 4 more pounds to meet my goal. You just have to keep going & not give up. Some days might be harder than others but you have to tell yourself that you really really want to lose the weight. Good Luck. Let's keep each other motivated!!!!

| My weekend was horrible with a Christmas Party to go to. I was too lazy to cook this weekend so my husband went out and bought fast food plus I had a big piece of cake for my son's birthday yesterday. I don't know if I'll be able to accomplish this new years goal but I sure will continue to work at losing the weight in the new year. |
