Medicines or supplements? |
|
|
Hi everyone, I need help. I don't know what to choose. It seems some people can just handle loosing wieght on their own, but I'm to the point of pulling my hair out. Dieting doesn't work for me.
I have never taken anything before to help, so which way should i try? I read this article because my local radio had a commercial on for hoodia, naturalreport.com/?p=78, and it sounds like something that will help an overeater like me, but is a supplement going to help as much as a medicine? I'm kinda nervous about taking medicines but the natural part appeals to me from the hoodia.
Any advice would be greatly thanked! |

Can you post what you have tried and your situation so we can give you some advice? If you read through posts of people who have been in here for awhile you will find that most of them stop taking pills and start relying on diet and exercise alone. I'm not saying that you shouldn't take anything I am just trying to say that there is no magic pill so thier is still alot of hard work in losing weight. If you go into the weight loss forum I am starting a list of fat loss tips and resons why they work. Please remember that healthy weight loss is only 1-2 pounds per week. |

Hi Luckysmile
I have tried most different diets. The last one was the southbeach diet. I can't seem to find anything that helps me. I work out, probly not as much as i should, and I walk around my neighborhood quite a bit. The real problem comes from me just always being hungry. I never feel full and I snack on stuff all thoughout the day.
I have zero will power and but never keep going. I watch my video tapes still and try to do the workouts. |

bubbleganush,
There are several natural supplements very powerful out there. Hoodia is one of them.
Is hard to tell what will work and what will not for you. It may be best to check out with a licensed physician and see if your weight problems aren't caused by any metabolism disorders. I do not want to frighten you and from what you posted there is no reason to.
Try out exercising and dieting and if things do not work out for you you can see a doctor. There are solutions for everybody.
Good luck,
Light. |

The article is right. Hoodia is powerful is you find a quality product. What I do not like about the article is that they try to sell you something. See the:
"For the best choice in Hoodia supplements we only recommend:
100% Natural Desertburn Hoodia"
They try to sell you something trough an affiliate program: 1.affiliateclicks.com/u/fastgold/...
If you really think that you have problems just go see a doctor. He is the one to guide you right.
Good luck. |

Thanks Light. I don't care that they are selling something, somebody has to sell it. I'm not saying I'll by it from them but I thought it made sense.
Im going to take your advice and see a doctor first and ask them about it and get a physical while i'm there. Now to work up the nerve to find a doctor. eeesh. |

I would also try increasing your water intake. I have a post on the weight loss forum lounge about why this is so important, it's called weight loss tips and facts. |

So hooray for me. I found a doctor to go to today. I'm still a little nervous about that, but i'm sure it'll be ok.
I read somemore today and asked a friend who is all into working out and be a muscle head and he said that he had heard good things from others who have tried hoodia. I'm going to order some and see what happens. He went into alot of detail about the different types of weightloss drugs but said the story I read sounded like it was right.
So wish me luck and i'll let you know how i'm doing, if anyone is intrested. |

| bubbleganush.. I have been using hoodia for little bit [too soon to tell but so far so good] You should see a dr. I just heard about this forum through another. i was just wandering around looking at posts. the one thing i'd suggest with the hoodia is try to eat something at night a few hours before you go to bed - i dont eat any am meal just coffee so i find it works better for me if i eat some. it it is neat to not feel starving all the time. Good luck - i'll look for you in the challenges section. |
