Thanks. Now i'm in my day 8. I have just lost a total of 4.5 kgs. Not bad, it's really working! :-) Today, i've just started my badminton session for an hour. I figure the weight loss is a lot faster when combined with exercise or any physical activity. I plan to do it at least twice a week and let's see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted. :-)

I've been on it a month and I have lost 14 pounds so far.

It is NOT a miracle drug and it will not do all the work for you. However, I have found that if I pay attention to how hungry I feel and stop eating as soon as I feel full, it DOES help me eat less.

I also exercise for AT LEAST an hour 3-5 times a week. I had to work up to that.

I drink plenty of water and limit caffeine, get at least 2 servings of dairy and drink a glass of green tea snce green tea is not only rich in anti-oxidants but helps your metabolism.

Good luck - I hadn't lost ANY weight in 20 years before this!

Don't forget to monitor your blood pressure on Meridia. It can increase blood pressure. Also, get blood tests to make sure your liver function remains normal. Otherwise, you should be fine.

HI! I'm from spain, so my english might not be perfect. I've been reading this forum and wanted to share my experience with you. Here in Europe, Reductil is considered as a dangerous drug, because of some deaths asociated to this pill.

I took reductil once, a year ago, for 3 months and lost 7kg.
It really works, controling my axiety, but i recomend to everyone to go see their doctor before iniciating your treatment. The people that died because taking reductil had heart problem or took a too large dosis of it. This medication isn't recomended to anybody, that's why you should see if your body is able to manage it's side effects. As many of you said, some of its side effect are insomnio, head ackes, dry mouth... It depends on everyone because everybody is different.

I recomend also to take the pills for 3 months and then take a rest for a month, then to take them again for another 3 months and so... It's the healthiest way to loose weight but not too much on little time, otherweise you might recover all the lost weight after you stop taking reductil.

I hope it wasn't so confusing and it all work out for you girls!

Hi NewGirl,
Yes, you are right. If you take Reductil do it only after your doctor's prescription.

You need to drink lots of water with Meridia. Try to hydrate better. Good luck.

Hi Lisa,
Thanx for sharing your experiences with us.

I want to ask you a question. Does Meridia cause any allergic reactions?
Thanx and good luck.

Hi,

Well as with any medication, it can cause allergic reactions in those who are sensitive to its ingredients, but there is no specific precaution relating to Meridia/reductil

I think its very rare as far as I know

:D
