Hi,
Well today I weighed in at 177!!! Laughing I'm really sticking to becoming a healther person & feeling better about myself. I know I eat because I'm bored or feel depress about something. Now I'm feeling depress about not fitting in my clothes. So I'm really trying to change my old ways I have with food. It's comforting knowing I'm not the only one with this problem. Usually when I get to 170lbs I hit a plateau. It gets to hard then & I just stay at the weight so I think I'm going to change my goal of 160-165 to 150-155. I have 22lbs to go!! Wish me luck.

Ok so......finally some progress to report!

I think the first week's loss was primarily water weight since everything stalled for a few days after the initial loss. I also strayed from serious working out and calorie counting for a few days.

Now my kiddos are sick and I still can't get to the gym but I am losing in spite of it!

Sienna78 - great job! I think you will have a better chance at long term succcess since you are looking at it as a lifestyle change! Say the word diet to me and it makes me want to eat everything in sight! LOL! You are so positive about your whole effort and it's nice to see!

I need to get to 130 by New Year's!!! It's very possible!!

OK....first I must mention that I am a SUCKER for infomercials!

I saw the before and after pics from sandy somebody and she looked great but she said she did it using T-Tap. I wanted to order it awhile ago bcz I HATE weight lifting. I was a basketball player for years and I was really bulky from all the weight training. Then I went on to become an aerobics instructor and I even teaching 9 classes a week....there were little things I couldn't shake....like a dimple on my left thigh and bulky upper abs (I called it the bull dog abs".

SO....when I lost weight after my babies and had virtually NO muscle definition from 3 years of not working out...I thought NOW I have a clean canvas upon which to paint my body any way I want. I wanted to use swimming and ballet for strength and toning along with pilates here and there.

T-TAP doesn't use weights and purports to give you an all over work out both cardio and strength...and there was a cellulite thing but that's a side note. SO I ORDERED IT!

I will definitely be doing another round of Lipovarin and to the 2nd round I will add T-Tap in the am along with the usual treadmill/elliptical trainer at the gym (that's more for a mental break from being a stay at home mom).

I'm really curious to see if it's the solution I've been seeking for YEARS as a alternative to WEIGHTS.

I'll let you know!!

Hi Liptestor,

That's great your trying something new. I've heard of T -Tap. Is that a video that you work out to? I've been using the elliptical machine burning 500-600 calories. I'm just trying to burn fat right now. I want to start doing some weight training. I bought a condo in August as you know California is sooooo exspensive to live here so I've had to cut out a lot of things & one of them was my gym membership. That's why I had to buy something so I bought a ellpitcal machine. I liked it @ the gym & I always use it but I miss having all the weights. So I have 2 5lbs weights at home so I'm going to have to figure out a routine. Are you still taking Lipovarin twice a day. I'm still taking 1 @ 8am & 1 @12pm I don't want to up until I feel like I really need it. I 'm hoping to lose 5lbs before New Years or even more would be great!! So far I'm still at 177lbs but last Monday I was 184lbs so I'm pretty happy with the results. I don't want to lose to fast because it always comes back faster. Well keep up the good work.

Hi Sienna,
My wife and I took our two boys to Knotts Berry Farm on 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th, needless to say we were not able to adhere to a good diet but I weighed in at 264. Maintained.........but that's not what my aim is so I'm back at the GNC MRP again today and am very confident. I'll let you know my progress.
God Bless You All !

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Slow weight loss is definitely the best way to go. I am taking 3 Lipovarin with 2 Thyrotril twice a day AND I just added Aquadrene today for the final 10 days.

I always use the elliptical trainer at the gym. It's a great thing to have at home....and YES CA can be expensive.

I had a Xmas thing for 10 toddlers and the moms at my house last night and cut my calories ALL day to splurge. I maintained today AND started THAT awful thing that comes once a month SO I'm pretty happy that I didn't balloon.

I have a horrible sore throat so it looks like now I'm sick but I will still try T-Tapp the second it arrives!!

WES - you can do it!!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Hi Everyone,
I'm so looking forward to the weekend. I 'm watching my nephews this weekend (ages 2 & 4) So I'm sure their going to have me running around. I hope so since I won't be able to work out. I going to give it 100% to eat right this weekend, I hope I don't mess up. Rolling Eyes

McGrath- I used to live right by Knotts Berry Farm. It's a fun place to go but yes there's a lot of things to eat that's not very healthy. But I'm sure you & your family did a lot of walking & that's always good. Very Happy

Lipotestor- So is T-Tap a video that you work out to? So besides the lipovarin what is that other stuff your taking? Are you having any side effects? PLease keep me posted it helps to hear how everyone is doing. It's motivating!!!

Sienna78 Wink

Merry Christmas!!

Good day to you all,
Isn't today just wonderful? Can't believe we got another day! Doing well today and I expect a great week ahead. I would like to make plenty of progress over these next 5 days before Christmas. I plan on some walks and bike rides during Christmas weekend. The GNC mrp is working very well and my water intake is good.
Lipotestor- Thanks for the encouragement.
Sienna- Yes we did alot of walking and it felt great. How was the weekend for you?
Take care you all, Wes

In Him we can do great things.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a lot of fun with my nephews. But I kind of mess up on Saturday. I had a lot more calories than I should of. Circus animal cookies & snacks!!! That's what got me in trouble. I was really upset with myself since I've done so good for the last two weeks. But I know I just got to keep going & not give up because I want to lose this weight. But after all that I weighed in at 176lbs!!!! Very Happy
That works for me!!! I lost 1 lb.

Keep me posted everyone, Good Luck!!!

The one thing I'm starting to notice is that I feel really tired & sometimes my stomach is bloated. I don't know if it's the side effects. I'm only taking 2 a day. So I'm thinking I should start to take 3. 1 in the morning & 2 in the afternoon. I know the bottle says I should take up to 6 a day. Does anyone notice a big difference when taking that much? PLease let me know. Rolling Eyes

Hi Everyone!

I am so SORRY I was offline for a few days.

I have MUCH to report. I was at 133 this AM and it was AWESOME!!!

I have been having side effects I thought that I should report. I get the occassional headache and since I started Aquadrene I have terrible stomach issues and the toilet and I have become very close. Embarassed LOL!
I am also tired and if I wasn't taking the aquadrene...I would feel bloated too.

I haven't been able to work out since Christmas is almost here but I have been crazy counting calories.

I cut out all other supplements except alfalfa which I ADDED yesterday since I started my body brushing for cellulite and I need the collagen. Since it acts as a diuretic too.....I dropped one dose of the Aquadrene. I have not started the T-Tap but I did receive the videos and I have watched the seminars. I will start that Boot Camp right after Xmas.

My routine has been 3 Lipovarin and 2 Thyrotril in the AM and I added 2 Aquadrene this past week (it calls for 3 but it kills my stomach). Then before lunch I do it again. In the evening I take 2 alfalfa pills and if I have been horrible about carbs then I add 2 thyrotril before bed.

Since I haven't been working out.....remember I have two babies under 3 that keep me running around all day. I clean the house like mad. AND I've been shopping with kids in tow. MAINLY.....I have been DILIGENT about sticking to a <1100 calories a day and I try not to have carbs in the evening other than veges. IF I do know I will be socializing I eat almost NOTHING but protein in the daytime to compensate.

IN ALL HONESTY - I have stomach issues in the AM...I feel tired A LOT and a bit of insomnia at night but the weight is coming off. FOR ME...it's worth it.

Sienna and WES- stick with it...you're getting there! Water is SO important! If you can squeeze in a lovely walk over xmas - DO!! Laughing
MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO BOTH OF YOU! Your support has been such great help!

I just wanted to wish you ALL a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I go back and forth whether to throw caution to the wind and just enjoy the holiday or whether to TRY and keep it in check.

I guess we will see...... Wink

My parting words.....

I tried it...I lost weight! 11LBS! I went from 144 to 133. I am tackling the last weight via a mixture of a Raw foods diet and low sugar, processed foods, flour, etc. At the end of it all I will do a cleanse of toxins and hopefully good to go for a maintenance plan.

If I was in a pinch....I would use it again.

Caveats - There were side effects for me....

I felt REALLY tired
Nausea
Stomach pains
Diarrhea once the aquadrene came on board
Headaches
Insomnia

I didn't feel that burst if energy that others describe. I did gain the wieght back over X-mas but shed it quickly after so that is a good sign.

I think it's an excellent jump start and perhaps a good tool if you reach a plateau. I would also consider it for those that have crash dieted for a long time and want to stabilize their metabolism. It is a bit expensive to stay on long term though.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL IN THEIR WEIGHT LOSS ENDEAVORS!
