My "Complete" Transformation |
|
|
Well, you guys have seen the pics of my "So far" version, now I think I'm done and I'm going to start maintaining. So here's my "complete" transformation. This is a journey that never ends though!
Before (Jan 15, 2008):
Height: 6'1" Age: 23
Weight: 195lbs
Waist: 34.5"
Body Fat Percent: 24-26%
After (June 21, 2008)
Height: 6'1" Age: 24
Weight: 165lbs
Waist: 28.5"
Body Fat Percent: 7-9%
Sorry, no oil this time, didn't feel like it!
So I lost 30 pounds, 6 inches off my waist and 17% body fat! |

Wow, now that is a great transformation. And look at that, you're not even trying to sell anything Good for you.
Your abs are awesome.
What kind of diet were you on, and can you expand on your workout routines?
My boyfriend is on the same diet as me and he has been losing weight really nicely, but he has a long way to go before he will see his abs
Thanks,
-Carrina

Eating six small meals a day with a calorie deficit, I had to get a bit aggressive with my deficit. I would eat any starchy carbs in the morning and then do low carb nights, veggies are okay at night (Veggies are ALWAYS OK).
My training? I did an an average of 90 minutes of cardio a day for 20 days to reduce my body fat enough for the abs to show. I did weight lifting three times a week, I did supersets with no break between three workouts and then I would take a short "active" break (a break where I'm moving either, jumping, dancing, punching the air) and keep lifting. What helped me somewhat with the energy was taking Hydroxycut Hardcore, but I really don't recommend this until you are very close to your goal. Basically you want to get to your "happy weight" and then start overdriving the body a bit to get the layer of fat of your abs. It takes REALLY wanting it! I did little ab work, twice a week for about 10-15 minutes. |

holy smokes! i didnt think i could get inspired by seeing a male transformation of weightloss... but boy am i ever!!!!!!!
im on my second day of 90 minute cardio. tell me again about this supersets you do? im planning to do 3 set of 10-12 reps with a three second break in between. is that right?
i love how you said you did little ab work because its SO SO TRUE!! crunches dont get you a six pack... six pack abs are made in the kitchen... ie: the lower your body fat - the more six pack will show.
ROCK ON BROTHER!!!!
totally inspired!!!!!!!!!
ps: what happened after the 20 days of 90 minutes of cardio? did you keep doing it? did it take you 6 months to get into this shape? also- what was your diet... like a typical day for breakfast meal 2 lunch meal 4 and dinner? thanks for posting! |
