I think if someone wants to send a positive email, just send it directly to his msn account, rather than through that third party. And it does stink that it is even neccesary. For anyone who had doubts about replying, for whatever reasons, remember Doc. B was there for us, when we didn't have any other options. So we should return the favor.....where would we all be now if not for him? He stuck his neck out there, time and again, with all the problems that he has had, he is still trying to make a difference, for us, not himself.

Well I def replied and gave my experience with the whole situation, considering the fact that about a month ago, I was called by some chick about the pharmacy reporting me and the crap they said about Dr. B.
I think he is doing a good thing, whether it is legal, illegal, he gets it!!! We get the real stuff, and we dont pay out the ass!! I have spoken to the girls who work there, several times and have never ever had a problem until recently.
I could care less if the DEA has my info, I did nothing wrong!! I will express my gratitude!! They are not going to put anyone in jail. We got the prescriptions from a pharmacy, that was called in by a doctor. We didn't score them off the street or anything like that...........

And PW, WOW what a mouth on you.....you know we are here to help one another and share our stories, and what not....we don't need any more negative crap on here than what is already going on!!! I hope the patients that Dr. B has had, does write something. There is nothing to be scared of, I know that now. It's just crazy with everything going on.....Why can't it just be simple?????????????????

I got the email too, and I did exactly what he asked. I wrote a detailed message about all the problems I had had and how grateful I was for his program.

You cannot get in trouble, by the way, for responding to this email, and if you want to have any chance for him to continue, you should definitely do it!

This would not have anything to do with the Attorney General of a given state. It is a DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) matter, and WE cannot get into trouble, although the DEA could shut him down.

Again, if you want to continue to be able to get 'cookies' from anyone online, you should respond to his email, and do what he asks! Fight big brother or whoever it is that's trying to cut us off!

I'll definately reply to his email!!! I think what he is doing is great ! People try to find something wrong with EVERYTHING!!!!! Especially the pharmacists that sometimes look at you like you're a criminal because you have a prescription for diet pills . I used to work as a dental asst., and the office mgr there had 40 rx for pain killers filled out from our script pads at the same pharm monthly! Somehow, it took them about 4 months or so to catch on???!!!
Anyway....he deserves support from everyone here

I told you guys that what Dr.B was doing was highly ILLEGAL! Everyone just said im an a-hole for saying it or that I was being a hater.

But nobody wanted to listen to me... now the DEA has all your information, your names, your addresses, etc....

I hope Dr.B goes down and I am writing the DEA. It's pathetic that they would shut down the reputable online pharmacy's (ccbasket, anyone?) and let people like this Dr.B run around charging people for a "weight loss program" and abusing their status as a doctor to write prescriptions to people he has never met.

Incase any of you are wondering - if you ever read that ccbasket indictment you would notice that the #1 reason they got shut down was "Prescribing medication to people WITHOUT SEEING the doctor.

I know some people on this board claim to know exactly what is and what isn't legal - I won't mention any names or initials - but clearly there is some question about the issue of online medical consultations. It is not like Dr. B is running an underground operation. He is very publicly advertising that he prescribes drugs to combat obesity (among other methods) following an online consultation. If this were unquestionably illegal he would have been arrested and/or his practice would have been closed immediately. Neither has happened. Clearly, there is some room for interpretation.

What is more likely is that the various states and their medical boards are considering new avenues for health care, such as the Internet, and whether they are effective, safe, desirable, etc. Those who see the benefits of Dr. B's program need to speak up before they clarify the law either way. Do I think what he is doing is important, yes, but there is also a bigger issue than phentermine. Wouldn't it be nice for a responsible adult to be able to enter their vital statistics in the computer, consult with a licensed physician, and get a script for tamiflu, allergy medicine, an antibiotic, etc.

What we don't need are more people who engage in name calling and blog assumptions as fact without ever checking the truth behind their accusations.
