Hi all,

I'm new but it looks like you've got a good thing going here so I wanted to jump in and take advantage of the all the support, information and overall good vibes on this site. Very Happy I'm hoping that knowing everyone is watching my progress will help with my motivation as well. So any support you can give would be appreciated. I need all the help I can get! Wink

I've been reading a lot of (generally) good things about Lipovarin so I decided to take the plunge and ordered the 150-count bottle a couple days ago. As I'm currently traveling for work, I expect them to arrive by the time I return home on Jan 19th. So I think I'll dive right in and start the program on Jan 20th.

Here's a little background on me: I've always been a bit chunky. I blame this on a combination of genetics and environment but primarily (hate to admit it but it's true) bad eating habits and a somewhat sedentary lifestyle. I was able to lose quite a bit of weight about 8 years ago through a self-developed program of skipping lunch (eating just a piece of fruit instead) and walking for at least an hour every day on my lunch break. I also added in bike rides and dog walks and any other activities I could work in. I was able to lose about 40 lbs over the course of about 6 months this way and didn't really monitor my diet that closely, other than giving up lunch. I went from about 188 at my max, down to about 137, at my minimum, but eventually stabilized around 145.

Unfortunately I was only 32 years old then and now I've just turned 41. As such, I think my metabolism has pretty well ground to a halt. My lifestyle as a traveling consultant has certainly not helped either. Since taking this job 6 years ago, my weight has maxed out at about 210. I'm currently down to around 198, but would like to get back to around 140 ideally.

I've been trying to work out as often as possible - generally an hour of fast walking on a treadmill 4 days a week or so. I also occasionally do the Winsor Pilates 20 minute workout. Additionally when I'm on the road, I eat a bigger lunch and skip dinner or just grab a few hors d'oeuvres and/or raw veggies in the hotel lounge in the evening. It doesn't seem to be making a dent though and I'm often quite hungry in the evenings. Enter the Lipovarin - I need some kind of a kick-start. Or a kick in the butt maybe! Wink

My current stats are as follows:
Age: 41
Gender: Female
Current weight: (approx. 198 - bleah!)
Height: 5'10"
Pant size: 16-18 but it all depends on the style. I can wear a size 12 in some skirts and jackets.
Short term goal: 185 by Feb 21st (going on vacation - probably not realistic for only a 5 week period but hey, let's aim high! Let's get nuts!)
Long term goal: 140

I plan on keeping my workout program about the same. An hour a day at least 4 times a week. More if possible.

As for my diet, I don't think I'll do well if I constantly deprive myself of WHAT I like to eat. But I'm going to try to have more control over HOW MUCH of it I eat. And definitely make a conscious effort to eat a healthier diet overall.

Wish me luck. I'll check back in on my actual start date.

P.S. Sorry for the length of this post. I tend to get a little long winded!

Hi again,

I can't say I'm that happy with this product so far. I've been taking a total of 4 per day (2 at breakfast and 2 more shortly after lunch). I wanted to start off slowly in hopes of avoiding any bad effects.

I may have lost a pound or 2 after the first couple of days but I have a feeling that was probably just water weight because I'm back to where I started from at the end of the week. Admittedly, I haven't really changed my eating habits much. I've continued to eat bigger lunches and just eat something small and snacky for dinner most nights. I haven't been able to work out every day but have done 45 minutes to an hour of fast walking on a treadmill 4 days this week.

What's the problem? Am I still eating too much? I'm still very hungry in the evenings when I don't eat a full dinner. So the appetite surpression aspect really isn't working either.

Should I try taking the 6 pills per day? I guess I haven't had any major bad side effects - just some minor queasiness some days and a little trouble sleeping (i.e. waking up several times per night). I guess that's why I'm not eager to bump it up to 6 capsules a day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm already getting pretty discourgaged.

Thanks!

Thanks LB. I'll try but I can't help but think if I could give up sugar, bread and pasta, I wouldn't even bother with the Lipovarin! Wink

I know I need to cut down on that stuff though. But I think it will be a slow process to wean myself off of them.

Thanks for your input. Smile

Well all, I've been using Lipovarin according to the directions, trying to limit my portion sizes and exercising regularly for about 3 weeks now and I've ended up gaining weight! So apparently I'm one of the people it doesn't work for. Lucky me. Sad

I haven't decided yet if I should finish up the bottle, of just write it off. Unfortunately since I bought them from someone on eBay, I'm probably not eligible for the money-back guarantee that's available if they're purchased directly from the manufacturer.

At any rate, I guess I can't see the point of flooding my system with caffeine and other unknown chemicals if they're not helping me any. So I'll probably just chalk it up as another failure. I really didn't like the way they make me feel anyway. I'm always thirsty and have a strange taste in my mouth. I've also experienced some queasiness and stomach pain as well.

Sorry I can't report better news. I guess they work for some but not for me.

Good luck to the rest of you. Back to Square One for me! Crying or Very sad
