Quick Boost and Breakfast |
|
|
I'm a 6'5", 23 y/o male who has been working out and eating better (not great but pretty good) for about 3 months now. I didnt weigh myself when I started but I guessed between 310-325 or so. At this point I'm around 285. I've been there for about 2 weeks now (maybe down a pound or two in that time) so it's been pretty stagnant. I'm not getting discouraged because I've seen it can work but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations about a pill that gives you that quick boost of 10 pounds or so just to keep it going. Any help would be appreciated.
Also I never eat breakfast and I know I should but I like sleeping so much I wake up, get dressed and go right to work and shower on my lunch break so eating isnt really a plan on mine. Any good bars that I could buy? Ive heard some energy bars can be counter effective because of high suger content.
Thanks in advance. |

Could you pack yourself a snack the night ahead of time that you can eat on your way or at work? Some ideas are veggie sticks, healthy muffins, dry cereal (I love honey nuts like this). Or even just a glass of milk will help (have it ready to go in a go cup in your fridge). Alot of granola bars are pretty unhealthy but there are a few good ones out there. Look up breakfast cookies if your willing to bake, they are designed to be fairly healthy.
As for the weight loss a pound or two a week is healthy weight loss. It comes off faster at first, but by the sounds of it you aren't stagnant yet, just slowing down abit. Not sure what you've been doing for your workouts, but they say one of the fastest ways to speed up weight loss is to change what you are doing every couple of weeks. That said try eating a little something every morning, even if its only semi healthy it gets your metabolism going earlier in the day and helps avoid feeling starving later. If the best you can do is an energy bar don't worry too much about it, just make sure it works into your daily eating requirements. |
