Hi! I'm from the philippines and I just want to ask if I can send my cousin in the US (New Jersey) some reductil (15 mg abbot) for her weight loss cause it's much cheaper here than buying in the states.

I have been taking meridia for about 5 years. Having slight OCD and a serious food obsession, my doctor prescribed this to me to see how it would work. After about 2 weeks, I found that my abnormal food obsessions were completely gone. I felt like a "normal person" for the first time in my life.
I haven't started dieting to lose the extra pounds. I just eat like a normal person would eat - only when I'm hungry. By this fact alone, I've been losing about a half pound per month. if I actually dieted, I would lose weight very quickly.
I wanted to "weigh in" on this topic, because I have had fantastic experience with ordering generic meridia online (Sibutramine hydrochloride). I take 15 mg per day - the largest dose. These were about $5 per DAY from my local pharmacy. I ordered them online to save some money and have been extremely satisfied.
I order a year's worth at a time (anywhere from $350 to $500). And I find that every year I've had to search and dig for an online pharmacy who has this drug. Each year, I've received the medicine in a different type and brand. One was India's "Leptos 15" capsules which I don't think is available anymore. One year, it was a small yellow tablet that looked like valium and it was sealed in blister packs. One year, it came as a different brand of capsules and had a picture of a little fat indian man on the blister packs. The latest ones I've found are from a pharmacy online called pharmland.net and they're called OBETY and they come in a small cardboard box with a hilarious picture of a fat man's stomach on the box!
All of this to say, I have had *fantastic* experience with these generic sibutramine equivalents. I just ordered another 14 months worth of obety from pharmland.net for $500 even.
It's really scary to order from no-name overseas online pharmacies for the first time because there are a lot of scammers out there. In the past, I've purchased from companies called "aclepsa" "united pharmacies" and most recently "pharmland". Each time, I google searched those names looking for scams, etc. And so far with each of them I've gotten exactly what I ordered.
If you do your homework, and buy from a known reputable seller online, I don't think anyone would have any problems with generic meridia. I swear by it.

I bought Leptos 15mg from Calengute in India. It was not expensive and l have used the Chemists there on several occasions. For those that are desparate to obtain this, l would suggest you get the phone numbers from the international directory and phone them. They speak good English and to check reliability send for a small number initially and see what happens. It worked for me.
Anyone had any sleep problems with this drug?

Come on, we go to the pharmacy all the time and get generic for all types of drugs... sometimes, even doctors prescribe generic brands... Not all generics are bad...

You just have to make sure that the generic comes from a place with high standards.... and if you can, places where the original lab works with the local labs on the local brand..... It's the case in Brazil, for instance, over-the-counter weight loss drugs in the US are forbidden in Brazil because of the dangers they represent ( hoodia is a good example). Plus, the cost of Meridia , known as reductil in Brazil, is to expensive for the average Brazilian, so labs like Medley ( who is part of the Sanofi Aventis group - a French company that merged with a Loreal lab and a German lab) sell reductil under a different name for a lower price.  In this case, you can be sure that the product has high quality.  It's not the same for a product made by a Chinese lab or an Indian lab.

Another way to know is to buy just a month supply, try it for a week or a little more time, and see what happens. I think it's risky, but if you don't feel any difference, it's probably a fake.  The only problem is that in China they tend to put a little too much sibutramine in the pills,so you might get sick.  I would not buy anything from India. I love India, but I know India, so I'd really be careful.

I buy my supply from a website. I travel a lot, and it's hard to get reductil or meridia in local pharmacies without a prescription. Sometimes, I get the reductil , sometimes I get a generic, it depends on the availability of the drug, but both work.

Personally, I chose to give it a try since I couldn't find another pill that worked so well.
