Does anyone know if drinking EAS Advant-Edge Carb Control drinks will hinder the South Beach Diet ????
I am interested in drinking them as meal replacements during the day - however I dont want to "undo" my efforts and weight loss from the SB Program.
EAS Advant-Edge Carb Control Ready-To-Drink Shake
100 calories
15g of Protein
1g Impact Carbs
*** The drink has listed as their second ingrediant: Protein Blend (soy protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and calcium caseinate) I thought I read that whey proteins are used to gain weight, is this so for this drink ???
Please, if anyone knows would they reply.
THANK YOU [/b]

I've been on Phase one and thought the EAS Carb Controls shakes were a treat. In my experience, losing weight has been a huge battle that I've struggled with for a long time. I did lose minimal weight on similar diets to South Beach, but South Beach has been the best. This shake didn't adversely affect my diet at all. It actually made it much easier to lose without feeling deprived. I use it as a snack prior to exercise and it's been a regimen that have easily maintained (and pounds/inches still shedding). Hope that helps!
Are the Advant Edge Carb control bars ok for phase 1 of southbeach??
