Amen to that!!

She doesn't know what she is talking about. Weight gain can come from many different reasons. I used to be a size 2/4 two years ago but then I was diagnosed with an illness and I have to take medication for it. About 3 months on the meds, I noticed I had gained some weight and thought that I was maybe eating too much or not active enough. When I talked to my doctor he told me that the medication I am on DOES cause weight gain because it makes me more hungry and decreases my metabolic burn rate AND toys with my thyroid. So I have a choice, stop taking my meds and become sick and skinny or continue on my meds and try to find a supplement that will surpress my appetite and boost my metabolism. I am now a size 8/10 and I get depressed over it and think about it daily...it's hell.

So, to the skinny chick with no clue....screw you! Just be glad you don't have to be in this position.
