So i received my prescription on Tuesday. So today would be day 2 that I have started my phen. I went to walgreens and got the 504s. I started by taking half yesterday at about 6 am and wasn't feeling anything still at 830 so i took the other half. I felt slightly anxious, not too jiddery though, but at like 1130 i had a tiny hunger growl. the same thing today only today i took the whole thing.
I have read that a lot of people don't have an appetite at all, could there be something wrong with my prescription? Also I had no problem going to sleep last night either, I was sound asleep by 930...
has anyone else experienced this? and if so is there a better pharmacy where i can get my prescription at? |

I always use Costco Pharmacy, but you can call around to whatever drugstore chains are in your area and ask what brands they carry. Then when it's time for a refill, go to whichever one has the type you want. I don't know about Walgreen's, but most people dislike the phen CVS sells, so I'd cross them off your list.
PS - Maybe you're expecting too much, too soon. Give it a few days, and then see if you're still not feeling any effects. Also, everyone reacts differently. You may never feel the way someone else does when taking it. |

Thanks sugar! you are so smart. You are probably right, I should give it a few days before I make assumptions. I just thought it was weird that my stomach was hungry at all.
I can feel the difference in my body so I know they are not a bad batch, I was just wondering why I might be able to go to sleep when it is a common side effect to be wide awake.  |

| I just started taking adipex (37.5) and I also had hunger pangs. I was surprised as well. What I did discover is that although I do feel hungry at meal times (and growling stomach), it only takes about 25% of my normal meal to feel full. But I am not sitting around forgetting to eat - just eating less when I do eat. I think that's not necessarily a bad thing but I, too, thought I would never feel hungry. |
