Yesterday I reached a little milestone. I have lost 45 pounds.
I live in Chattaroy, Wa; just outside of Spokane and am a married mother of 4. I am 45 years old. I now weight 240 pounds. My life used to revolve around getting my children ahead in life, keeping my husband pleased and rewarding myself for these heroic feats by drowning myself in calories. Then I would withdraw and feel guilty and horrible and then confort myself in more calories.
I came across a post in late December of 2008. A friend had posted on her blog about wakenew. A little system started here is Spokane, Wa. that has apparently grown quite large.
I visited the site and have never looked back.
It changed my life.
They live around a principle that OA adheres to. We are under the spell of eating habits that we can no longer control.
It is a subliminal system that has you fill out a form asking questions about your eating style etc. They send you a system that has audios, Binaca peppermint spray and a bracelet.
I can't explain it properly here except to say that it put me back in control.
