I want to start dieting, and the proper way to start I think is by cleansing the body. I’ve gained weight recent and I get late night cravings for sweets. Most detox plans it seems you have to starve yourself for 7days or so. Is there any recommendations as to a safe natural product to detox or/and curb appetite? Feedback would be most appreciated.

If you have a lot of trouble preventing yourself from snacking late night while you're watching TV, I recommend to my clients that they wake up earlier in the morning and go to sleep a couple hours earlier at night. Usually when you're eating sweets at night it's more out of boredom than out of craving, so removing those hours of boredom will correct this.

As far as a safe, natural product to detox and curb appetite, there's a great one out there called grass fed beef.

You can start small and just fast for 24hrs and drink plenty of water to help detox. I wouldnt recommend not eating for 7 days

I agree with RSALEM123, you don't want to over do this. Try clear stewed vegetable broths and fruit for no more than 2 days. Lots of clear liquids. After this try a balanced diet that includes vegetables, fruit, legumes and whole grains. Your daily fiber intake should be 25 -35 grams. Drink plenty of water, preferably filtered. Limit processed foods. Your body will keep you flush.

I always prefer eat more and loose more. I was 75kgs a year before and i had planned to loose around 20kgs in 4months. I used to eat a lot during that time but i had decided to loose weight. I used to eat a lot and exercise a lot. It just took me less than 4 months to loose around 22kgs. Now i weight 51kgs.

Drinking fresh water also helps in removing waste and redundant calories which is great for losing weight and detoxifying the body.

Drinking water frequently is a very important to maintaining a healthy diet and losing weight naturally.
