Balance.  Eat what you want ...all foods.  In moderation, just like life.  But it is hard to do when others are junking out.   Just remember moderation.  :)

The most nutritious way of eating is a raw food diet. When you cook foods, most of the vitamins are destroyed or degraded by the heat. This is a fact and has been established for a long time. The problem is that people are afraid of moving away from the status quo which is cooking everything and eating highly processed foods. But raw foodism has become more popular recently because of celebrities like Demi Moore. The reality is that raw foodism has been around forever and the benefits are well-documented. It's not like a traditional diet because its more of a lifestyle change. Most people who start a raw diet stick with it if they know what they are doing. I've been raw for three years and I look and feel better than I ever have. Everyone else on a raw diet will say the same. The problem is  that people who are unprepared or unorganized can't be bothered to make raw meals. They'd much rather eat out at fast food places or cook up something unhealthy, and they pay the price for that. If you're interested in going raw, check out my raw food review blog at rawfoodland.com

A well -planned vegetarian diet is a healthy way to meet your nutritional needs that consists primarily of plant- based foods, such as vegetables, nuts and seeds and also contains less fat and cholesterol, and typically more fiber.

Dieters who eat the most protein tend to lose more weight while feeling less deprived than those who eat the least protein. It appears that protein is the best nutrient for  your metabolism, squashing your appetite, and helping you eat less at subsequent meals.
