Hello, I'm new here but yes, I have been losing weight, or at least I'm not starving myself or taking any meds. About 3 months ago I have stopped eating meat. I also pretty much only eat fresh veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, and I will also eat eggs and dairy. In sort terms I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian.

I have also reversed the times of day I eat  my meals. Like I eat my biggest meal in the morning and go smaller through out the day. So by the time I get to dinner I eat just a small snack. I mean why eat all those calories before you got to bed? I have lost 30lbs so far. I have gotten some great ideas from 3 books,


1) The Reverse Diet
2) Eating Right For Your Blood Type
3) 7 Principles to Fat Burning


All have given great advice on how to lose weight. People always want advice from others which is always great but we also need to remember we all have different body types. We also gain and lose weight in different ways.

I have also cut out salt and caffeine from my diet. It has been a pretty extreme change for me, but I'm tired of being fat. I have come to realize that I need to choose between food and my health. Some people can have both, but not me. I love food! I love the way it taste and makes me feel. I just hate the way it makes me look and feel after I'm done.

My doctor who is a great man has always told me "You need to eat to survive and stop surviving to eat".

Hey Ash that is great advice. The reverse diet completely makes sense. Eat the larger portion of calories when your body can burn them off through the day. Congrats on your weight loss! That is the truth. It is also the mental connection and decision to eat what is right.
