We are doing some updates on the forum. Unfortunately there will be some downtimes... I am really sorry about this.

Thank Goodness it was just Light doing some up grade, I was a bit worried last night.
The new editor is in place but I am still doing some upgrades and configurations. Some downtimes may still ocure. 
i haven't had a problem accessing the site but i do have a problem staying logged it.
hmmm...i wrote about 3 additional sentences to the above reply and only the first sentence showed up.
Try making sure your cursor is at the end of your post before hitting the submit button. If it's in the middle anywhere, that's where the post will cut off.
Aha--just saw the "preview" buttons.

now i lost the entire post. this is driving me insane!
That solution used to fix the problem of cut off posts, Rockhoppa (Tots figured that out!). However, I think while Light is tinkering with some new features, it looks like it won't work. It's a PITA, but I hit "ctrl A" and then "ctrl C" to copy my posts before pressing submit in case some text goes missing. If it does, I click edit post, and hit "ctrl V" which pastes all of the text that I had previously copied. Then I submit again, and it's usually all there.
PS - those shortcuts only work on a PC. If you're on a Mac, you're on your own! ha ha. I bet baglady would know a trick or two, though.

let's try this again...thx sugar!! i did start copying my posts before i submitted but then when i'd go to edit i was logged out again. it was a perpetual cycle so i gave up. let's see what happens with this post.
still not working. although it kept me logged in so i could edit right away. getting there!

I am now searching for a way to escape those special characters... I do not think that the cursor have anything to do with this.
