Quote of the day from my calendar:
My pain teaches me about my life.
My suffering teaches me about my refusal to cope.

I saw this and thought it was kind of funny in one way but not so funny in another--I think if it were me in that predicament I think I would have been pissed!
But anyway--funny or not?--
 You decide...

HEY PUNCHIE
I AGREE.
IT'S A CLEVER PLAY ON WORDS, BUT.....
I'LL BETCHA' THE PEOPLE WHO WITNESSED THE JOKE THOUGHT IS WAS MORE SAD THAN FUNNY WHEN THE BLINDFOLD CAME OFF AND THEY COULD SEE HOW DISAPPOINTED SHE WAS.
FEELS MEAN TO ME.

Hi Deebee
I thought the same thing-- it was a pretty dirty/mean thing to do too..
I am all for fun but to dash someones hopes when they entered the contest honestly-
Doesn't say much for the pranksters does it.?

Ohhh, NOW I get it. Punchie I had to reread that caption a few times before it sunk in. Duh. LOL! I would have been livid!
That reminds me of a friend's Halloween costume party when I was about 12 years old. There was a prize for best costume - $100! So imagine my excitement when I won 1st place! But the grand prize was a big fake $100. My friend's dad presented it to me in front of everyone... just laughing away like it was a hilarious joke.
I felt stupid, embarrassed and mad.

Oh Baglady
That is terrible! An adult should know better than to do something so rotten..Kids I understand can be cruel for whatever reason...(probably learn it from prick parents like that)
But when adults do crap like that especially to children,
It  is just reprehensible.

I feel so bad for you that you thought you should feel stupid...
You should not have been the one embarassed-
You did nothing wrong -
Makes you wonder what people like that are doing raising children...
What a great role model he must have been-The dirty bastard.
Gosh-- people like that make me so mad.
