order from "y" c.o.d question

Hello I just place and order with "y" could I call him and request that it be shipped to the post office so I could pick it up. There is no one home all day during the week and I won't be home to give him the c.o.d?

I just made my 3rd or 4th order from Y last week. I got an email saying that it would be sent, COD, via the USPS. I've never had him send it this way before - always Fedex and DHL back when they were around. It's possible that this is just they way he's shipping now. It makes me nervous TBH - Isn't the USPS the one that Xrays everything?

Anyway, you can always call or email him. There is some delay between making the order and shipping. But just as a warning, I think the Y guy is pretty bad at special requests in general, so you never know.

I am also waiting on an order from him, someone on here said the post office called them and said they had a cod package to pickup.I will keep everyone posted on how it goes down for me. Df lets us know how it works out for you.

my order from y arrived yesterday, via usps...no issues whatsoever...took a total of 10 days...i think when they attempt delivery the 1st time and no one's home, they leave a note to reschedule delivery or u can call them to go pick it up urself...not sure if that's how usps works, but i know that's how fedex works...i just have my pkg delivered to work cuz i KNOW i won't be home when they deliver...hope all goes well!! good luck!

I did the same thing, rerouted the USPS COD delivery to my office, because I wouldn't be home during the day. It arrived in about a week, with no problems. It was discrete. Curiously, they would have taken cash or a check (for a higher fee).

I got my order in late April from Y Guy and it was through UPS. Yes, they attempt to deliver it to your house once. If you aren't home, they give you 10 days to pick it up at the post office before they send it back.

My delivery went quite smoothly.
