Phentermine and diarhea

I have been taking phentermine on and off for about 5 months. It varies between the MP273's and 504's. About 2 weeks ago I was hospitalized for 4 days with bad lower abdominal cramps and stools that were entirely bloody for 2 days. I did some quick research and found a couple of articles that show a link between ischemic colitis and phentermine. Has anyone heard or had this experience? I am very scared to go back to taking phentermine but still have 20 pounds to go.

actually, phen commonly causes constipation. i haven't heard about diahrrea. i'd ask your doctor.
