Hi Siesta-
Good to see ya girl!
Yaaaaesss I remember those..
My mom had some of those as well-- any and every color too ..
Does anyone remember (hope I spell it right)--
Cool lots? and Maxi skirts? (prairie dresses)
My sister had those and well on her it looked like she was 180 years old....

OH! Hot Pants - had red ones worn with white blouse,  black hose and white boots.  OMG I surely looked anything but HOT.  My husband liked them so that was one good reason to wear them.

Ola Ladies...Punchie, hope your back is better.
Loved those short short hot pants!!! Don't think I ever wore any of the culottes above, but I did have a short dress with the divided legs and that's what we called culottes as well as the skirt types. I never did go for the prairie style, little too frumpy for my taste.

Sugar...I am also Gen X.
My parents took me to see "Grease" in a movie theater and it was a big deal in those days.
I also remember taking typing class freshman year in high school on an IBM selectric.
I was in college when the original Beverly Hills 90210 was on TV.
