Congratulations. I personally think you looked really good at that other weight. Some people do and some dont. Obviously you didn't think so. Do you like being this thin now? It seems really thin for some reason. Some people carry it differently.
Thanks! |

I didn't feel great about how I looked, but it wasn't really a case of looking good for me, it was how I felt. I felt sluggish and unhealthy, and I went through spirals of not eating and then binging. My metabolism was shot and I had absolutly no fitness whatsoever. I set out to gain some fitness and learn more about healthy eating, and the weight fell off. it was never a vanity thing for me, but I am a lot more pleased with how I look now. I'm actually trying to gain a little muscle weight now. |

Congrats love!
Looks like you did it for the same reasons as me. This was never about how I looked, but how I feel...and the fact my doctor is on my case about it because of health issues in my family - which is fair enough, because it made me take it seriously.
Once I get to bottom ideal range (BMI of 22, curently about 28.5) I want to look into serious athletics and sports like kick boxing. It's all well and good keeping my mind active, but it's time my body had the same attention to it.
You're my newest inspiration. |

YES! I'll agree! You look GREAT! Although I agree w/ some of the others, you looked just as good at 185 lbs! I just didn't see a whole lot of "fat" on you... But you look good now as well.
Don't worry about ppl telling you you are too thin. I get that all the time, but it is all about what YOU want - not others!
Keep it up girl! You look AMAZING!!! |

Thanks so much everyone I seem to be staying pretty much bang on 112lbs now which is wonderful, it seems my body is happy at this weight. I feel really great, I'm looking forward to trying some new things this Winter too. My big love is running but the weather sort of stops me doing it. I'm hoping to try a yoga class and try out some new things in the gym to keep my metabolism on the go and my muscles in check.
I also have a new addiction - COTTAGE CHEESE! |

Wow, I love your website & all the recipes! I don't eat beef, pork or seafood (I do eat chicken) & you had a lot of good ideas on there. You look GREAT & you prove that losing weight can be done the right way. I am about 180 lbs right now.....I don't think I would ever be 112, LOL! (only in my dreams) But, I would be very happy around 135 lbs. I need to start cooking healthier for me & the DH. It made me happy to see that you started out walking your dogs, which is what I started doing about 2 weeks ago. I've been taking the doggies out for about a 30-45 brisk walk. I want to lose the weight for the same reasons you did (my health) & I'm sick of being unhappy with myself. I'm sure my husband is sick of me complaining too! It's time to do something about it! Food choices are the hardest thing for me & I'm going to try & count my calories. You have any input on how many we should consume each day to lose the weight? The "counting calories" link on your website was down. I used a calorie calculator & I thought around 1800 & maybe having two "off" meals a week. (If we go out or something, but still try to be a little good ) Anyways, your site is great & I will bookmark it. Thanks for sharing your story & all the info.

You look wonderful! Way to go! It looks like all of your hard work paid off! Thanks for the pics. It gives me incentive, since I need to lose at least 20 pounds.

While I do agree with the views that you were a beautiful woman in your before pics, its great you lost all that weight. We as society tend to focus on the looks sometime forgetting there are health reasons to lose weight. That was my primary incentive, looking good was simply the consequence.
Now you look stunning!
