ok--i'm just talking to myself here--but that's ok--it's not the first and won't be the last Smile i have been doing icky the last couple days on eating and feel sluggish--plus it's that time of the month. GA Teacher, where are you?

I'm here, I'm here! Snow?????? To me, that sounds so fun, but I guess you get sick of it. We had 2 inches a few weeks ago and you'd laugh, but the whole city shuts down when we get a little snow. I can't imagine the work though.... with the kids in and out, in and out, the wet laundry, running out of dry shoes........ 2 days of it and I was done! I'm sure you are more equipped than we are.

OK, my birthday weekend set me back a bit.... back to 188, but that is not too tragic. I'm back on track today.... have not cheated and have no plans too. Christmas and New Year's are done, birthday is done, no excuses.

Loreelin, what are you doing to diet? Still counting calories?

still counting calories, and sickness and stress seem to be helpful Smile

we've got about 2 feet of snow on the ground, the roads are ice and can't unfreeze because it isn't even warm enough for the ice melt to work!!

can't wait for summer!! or spring or just 50 degrees.

i haven't done too well the last couple days--when i'm out of pop--i eat--it's terrible--or i drink my hubby's pop--which is not diet. i am addicted!

I've been on track for 2 days.... if I make it to 3 (and I will!!!) I'll be back to making progress.

Interesting info I read.... thoughts to take you into the weekend:

"Fat tissue CAN be burned because it was MEANT to be burned! The main reason which prevents people from losing weight is ENDLES PROCRASTINATION. It is foolish to wait until a particular event or month to choose to get slim. Why would you want to remain overweight until some future time? What would the benefit be?"

I have been on a porgram for a couple of months and have lost twenty pounds. I have a friend who is helping me stay on track and her support has made a huge difference. I also came across a blog today from a weight loss conultant that really got me motivated. I thought I would post it here because I often come here to get motivation from all of you. The site is weightlossconsultant.blogspot.com, she apparently is a weight loss consultant, but I complie lists of all the motivating sites I find. Hope this helps some of you as well.

I weighed in at 183--so i haven't gone up (suprisingly) but i haven't gone down either.

Hey Hot Mamas.......
I'm doing Suzanne Somer's program, Somersizing. It is easy, and I have not lost 5 pounds in 8 days! You keep your carbs and proteins separate, but you eat from all the food groups. You have a meal of either all fruit, or an all carb meal (whole grains, no fat) with vegetables, or a protein/vegetable/fat meal.

im with you guys, can i join?? this is also a problem to me, my weight is killing me. im currently 195lbs. i just cant seem to get down to my normal size im now three times (i think) my normal size... Sad

You don’t need to waste your money on expensive extreme fat burner pills or other bogus supplements. Ab belts, ab-rockers, ab-loungers, and other infomercial ab-gimmicks. They're all a complete waste of your time and money.

Despite the misleading infomercials, the perfectly chiseled fitness models in the commercials did not get their perfect body by using that ab contraption. They got their perfect body through real workouts and real nutrition strategies.

It really helps to cut out the "white stuff" ........... white rice, sugar, flour, white potatoes. This works every time I do it!

I'm down a few more pounds. I broke my freaking foot (2 bones) and the challenge of using crutches has burned some calories, plus the difficulty of getting food! Maybe I should break my other foot when this heals! NO WAY!!!!!
