Hey there. I was wondering if anyone could share some experience with Creatine Supplements. I was taking the powdered form directly after my workouts and I noticed that I was not sore at all, which is great!! but I was also reading that creatine makes you have excess water weight which I don't want. I have read about some liquid creatine serums for women that do not make you gain water weight. Any women out there that have tried this in addition to their exercise regimen??

I take creatine before and after workouts. It increases my energy and "pumps" up the muscles. Indeed Creatine will make you retain water, its recommended to take creaine and drink lots of water.

rliz22, Hi!
Creatine will cause you to retain water... but this is good! Creatine's job is to cause your muscles to hold water so that they can repair faster! The faster your muscles repair, the faster you can build more muscle! I have used the liquid creatine supplements or "serums" but I prefer the powder types (personal preference). Even though you are technically "retaining water" I didn't really notice (except on the scale... threw my Tanita BF monitor for a loop!). If you don't drink enough water it will cause muscle cramps, so make sure you are not avoiding the water retention by steering clear of water!

Yes, I absolutely take creatine. That is one reason how I can sustain doing intense cardio twice a day.
