hi everyone,

I'm new here but i thought somewhere like this would be a great place to get support and inspiration for my weight loss. I have a goal that I would like to meet by December 25. As it happens, my beautiful thin, hates me beacuse i'm fat sister will be there and I won't have seen her for a year so that's a huge motivation for me. We used to be really close but then i got fat and now we don't really speak. i know she's ashamed of having a fat sister so part of why i want to do this is to rub it in her face haha. not so mature i know but she's treated me pretty horribly since i gained all the weight. anyways, i'm blabbing.

i'd love to have at least one person who can join me in on this and we can share support and inspiration and motivation. please let me know if you're interested.

good luck to everyone on their weight loss journey!!

I'm a medical doctor (a Christian) and I give my patients the same advice that helped me to lose 75 pounds and keep it off for 25 years: eat according to your hunger, not emotions. It sounds both easy and hard at the same time, I know, but I walk my patients through it step-by-step in the program I created. It's called The Eden Diet. It's all about eating food you love and enjoy, but in small portions and only when you're actually hungry. And it's about how to NOT eat because of "external" cues like emotions, boredom, etc. Everybody's different, and you should check with your doctor for what is right for you. But, if you're interested, check out my website http://www.TheEdenDiet.com. It's still under construction, but you can view parts of it.
