I'm using Medifast with the people at 3wayfit.com. After trying every diet possible I like the fact that I have a health coach (who is free, BTW) who I can go to when I have questions or am feeling tempted. Sadly, I've played the game for too long that if no one saw me eat, the calories didn't count. Knowing I will get a call a few times throughout the month keeps me honest and on track.
I also like eating six meals a day because my blood sugar stays level. I don't have the need to reach for a candy bar (never thought I'd EVER say that) and I have tons of energy.
I’m also going to Curves. I’m up to three ½-hour sessions each week. With only 30 seconds spent at each station, I felt like I could do it all. Since starting there I’ve lost over 2 inches overall.
I've weighed the same for 15 years but now, in two months, have lost 20 pounds. I can't believe I'm at 178 and counting! Yippee!!!! Nothing, absolutely, nothing has worked this long as this weight loss and exercise program. |

| Just wanted to encourage you to keep trying. I stepped on the scales at the school where I teach and started crying. I was up to 327lbs! I was shocked. From that moment on...4 years ago...I quit consuming liqued calories. By doing just that alone I lost 40lbs in a year. I then really started in on watching what I ate and a regular exercise of biking up to 20miles a day last summer. I am now down to 227. I am now walking 3-7 miles a day and biking when I can. It wasn't easy at first, a lifestyle change, but now I do things without even thinking about them. Exercise has become part of my daily routine. Loosing this weight has changed my life in every way I can think of. Start out small. I didn't jump on a bike after 25 years of not riding one and went 20 miles. I started with riding around the block...maybe a half mile and just added to it each day. Now my boyfriend and I go on bike hikes from 10 to 20 miles about twice a month and it is wonderful. Find someone to walk with or bike with. Makes it easier and the time goes by faster. Good Luck and don't give up!!! |

I honestly believe the best method to lose weight and keep it off is to eat well and exercise. (I know, it's a cliche) My boyfriend and I recently started adding hoodia to our program, which just helps us to keep the edge off our hunger. We do our best to eat only healthy foods and we exercise by running, playing our Wii fit, going to the gym, and pretty much any other activity that we can fit into our schedule. So far it's been pretty successful!
